The Big Chill is a newly renovated, luxurious 5-bedroom cottage conveniently located 25 minutes from the heart of Huntsville. Facing a breathtaking view of Buck Lake, this private waterfront cottage features shallow water that gradually deepens for swimming. This modern waterfront property includes a variety of water activities, fishing, with ATV and bike trails close by. Enjoy the beauty of the lake with 1 kayaks, 2 stand up paddleboards, water trampoline, a canoe and a peddle boat! The space Turn your meals into feasts in the spacious kitchen and adjoining BBQ deck. Overlooking the splendor of the lake, enjoy our 10-person dining room, with 3 extra seats available at the kitchen island. If you prefer outdoor dining, there are 2 picnic tables for families to relish in the natural beauty of Northern Ontario. After a great meal, relax in our comfortable family room perfect for playing a board game or watching movies on the big screen. For a little extra fun, try some darts or a game of arcade Pac-Man on the lower level. Or unwind in the wood burning sauna. The cottage features 5 bedrooms complete with a king, 3 queens, and a twin over double bunk bed. For extra sleeping or a perfect teen hideaway, there is also a vintage inspired bunkie complete with 2 twin beds and a chill lounge loft. The spacious hot tub and wood burning sauna paired with the lake so close offers a perfect spa style setting to enjoy! Guest access Everywhere except the garage and locked storage closets by the laundry room. Other things to note Clean bedding is provided for each bedroom - Please bring beach towels. We provide a starting supply of paper towel,(1) coffee pods (4), toilet paper in each bathroom(3), hand soap, dish pods, and garbage bags. In our welcome basket we put fire starters, shampoo and body wash. Please note that under cooking essentials, we do not provide oil. We have salt & pepper, there are an assortment of spices, and of course full cooking and baking equipment. This is a check box in the platform and does not give an option to separate out specific items. The dock and water toys are put into storage for the winter months from middle of October depending on the temperature until middle of May depending on the temperature and if ice is out of the lake. When the lake freezes there are no guarantees and at all times please practice ice safety. The hot tub water will sometimes appear green as the high levels of iron in the well water combined with the chlorine change the colour. The water is clean and fully balanced just the colour is not ideal. The bunk beds are not suitable for adults and only children should be using them. Docks and water toys are out for the season
