An inviting 2 bedroom, 1 bath updated mountain home in the woods at Lake Arrowhead. Located just minutes off of Rim of the World Highway and just minutes from Lake Arrowhead Village. Our home is open to everyone from all backgrounds. The space Come enjoy a home away from home in the mountains of the Lake Arrowhead. Our home is in close proximity to the Lake Arrowhead Village, Lake Gregory, Skyforest, Blue Jay Village, Cedar Glen, Sky Park at Santa’s Village, and Snow Valley Resort. Including skiing and sledding, parks and hiking trails, antique and specialty shopping, water activities at Lake Gregory, and tasty dining options. You can easily access the entire mountain range from Crestline to Big Bear. Immerse yourself in the natural beauty and explore all the mountains have to offer. All at our cabin! Specifically, these amenities will help you to have a restorative trip: KITCHEN Our kitchen with an electric stove offers complete sets of plates and cups for adults and kiddos, essential cookware, and microwave. We provide a Brita pitcher in the fridge and stocked spice cabinet. We supply coffee, sugar, and creamer. As well as an electric hot water kettle and a assortment of teas. LIVING AREA/DECKS Enjoy the vaulted ceiling in the living room with views of the forest through the sliding glass doors. A fun selection of toys & games available or access all of your own TV content (via Roku smart TV) while curled up on the couch. The home is a smart home and the central heat can be controlled remotely if you need help. We recently installed a mini-split AC system for cooling during the hot summer days with is also controlled by our smart thermostat. Additional fans are provided in the bedroom closets if needed. Enjoy the gas grill and dine al fresco upstairs with room to relax on the deck. Utilize the front patio to dine with your guests when the weather is nice. BEDROOMS Two bedrooms with comforting design. A spacious king mattress in one bedroom and a queen mattress in the other bedroom. Relax in the reading chair with views of the forest. LAUNDRY There is a washer and dryer available for guest use. Basic cleaning supplies are available. ACCESSIBILITY: Our home is not wheelchair accessible or suitable for those with mobility limitations. There are exterior stairs to access the home as well as interior stairs to access the bedrooms. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property. Other things to note WILDLIFE and WEATHER: You'll be in the mountains, so expect wildlife and fog/snow. The weather can be wonderful, but can also disrupt travel so we strongly encourage patience and planning ahead. Please note: We cannot refund for normal winter snow conditions, so if you are unsure about driving in the snow, we suggest purchasing travel insurance. In case of snow/ice, a 4WD/AWD vehicle and/or chains are required in order to drive up the mountain. Law enforcement sets up checkpoints to verify. Once you're in our neighborhood, the speed limit is 15 mph in normal conditions with winding roads and steep hills that can be tough without the proper car. Snow removal on street is provided. We have provided shovels and salt at the house in case it’s needed for guests to clear walking space and clean around your cars. We do contract for snow removal on our property from a trusted local provider but please note patience is required by guests as snow removal takes time for all roads to be cleared before private home areas can be reached. FIREPLACE (NON-FUNCTIONING) Unfortunately, our fireplace is not functional and cannot be used during your stay. Unauthorized use will result in a fine. SMOKING/VAPING (NOT ALLOWED) No smoking/vaping of any kind is permitted inside or outside the home. In addition to not wanting the smell inside, we are in a wildfire hazard area and extra care must be taken. PARKING Parking is available for 2 cars only. A large truck/SUV will take up two spots. Parking limitations are for safety reasons on the narrow mountain roads and are strictly enforced by county officials. Tesla Superchargers are located 5 minutes away in the Arrowhead Village parking structure. PETS (NOT ALLOWED) No pets are permitted. If you sneak in a pet you will be asked to leave with no refund. SECURITY *** There are Ring cameras on the exterior only of the property for your safety and ours. Please, do not attempt to bring extra guests/visitors that are not disclosed in the initial booking and/or host has no knowledge of or approved.
