Casa Viva is a beautiful home with lake-access. This home is just 120 yards from renowned Clarklake, a 580-acre all-sports lake. Docking space is available if you'd like to rent a pontoon or other watercraft. A public boat launch is available if you prefer to bring your own. Spacious private backyard with a relaxing deck and firepit. Casa Viva ("Vivid House") is the perfect place for your vacation getaway and certainly lives up to its name. The colorful decor and vibrant artwork brightens the house and makes for a very inviting atmosphere. Our kitchen opens up to a beautiful dining room with high ceilings, a skylight and French doors that lead to the patio. The dining table seats six, with additional seating for three at the breakfast bar. Inside the entrance closet are an assortment of children's books. There is a smart TV for all your streaming needs, as well as complimentary WIFI. One of the bedrooms is an oversized master suite with a king bed and two sleeper chairs to provide additional sleeping space for our younger guests. The guest bedroom has a queen bed (and guests rave about our mattresses!) Both bathrooms have walk-in showers, with one of them containing a stackable washer/dryer. Large private backyard with deck, patio table, grill, deck box with toys and fire pit. Guests have access to the entire property (excluding the garage and basement which is used for hosts' storage) Relax along the hosts' lakeside in Adirondack chairs while our younger guests enjoy the beach (toys located in the deck box.) Explore beautiful Clarklake on our kayaks, canoe, paddleboat or paddleboard (seasonal.) Life jackets (assorted sizes for adults and kids) are located in the deck box by the water. AUTUMN Celebrate autumn in all it's glory at Clarklake! Experience the explosion of colors with a kayak trip around Clarklake (seasonal.) The Irish Hills has so much to offer this time of year from festivals and haunted houses to apple picking, corn mazes and hayrides! WINTERTIME As the temperature cools and snowflakes flutter to the ground, Clarklake becomes a winter wonderland! There are many wintertime activities to enjoy in The Irish Hills. Go sledding at The Cascades, attend a winter festival, visit the quaint shops in downtown Brooklyn and have dinner in a heated igloo! After your winter adventures, warm up at Casita del Lago with cozy blankets and hot chocolate. CHRISTMASTIME Celebrate the holidays at Casa Viva! The moment you enter the house you'll feel the holiday magic. From beautiful decorations and flameless candles to a gorgeous tree, you're sure to get into the holiday spirit! Need additional space? We have two more vacation homes next door and right across the street (Casa Calma and Casita del Lago.) The driveway can accommodate two cars. Casa Viva is all yours! Casa Viva is just minutes away from great restaurants, the quaint town of Brooklyn, parks and sandy beaches (perfect for swimming and picnics and located at each end of the lake.) Walk or bike around the scenic Spirit Trail (rent or bring your own), take in unforgettable sunsets and enjoy all that Clarklake has to offer.
