Blue Loon Cabin: Lakefront in White Mountains

Take an interlude at our lakefront log cabin nestled at the edge of NH's White Mountains. Our gorgeous cabin has all the amenities of home and amazing views. Guests can enjoy a double kayak and paddleboat, lakefront "island" firepit, grill, and outdoor games. Inside is a cozy wood stove and board games. Blue Loon Cabin is located in Mountain Lakes, a four-season recreational community with beaches and sledding hill. 25 min to Sculptured Sand / Ice Castles. 30 mins to Cannon and Loon Mountains. The space Our cabin has an open main living / dining area with a woodstove and fully equipped kitchen. There are two private bedrooms and a bathroom on this floor. French doors in the main living area open out to the enclosed three season porch overlooking the lake with steps down to the yard. From the main living area, there are stairs up to a loft that includes a reading nook, and behind it the enclosed primary suite with private bathroom. The lower level of the cabin is a finished basement area including a comfy TV room with two full-size futons, a bathroom, game area, desk area, and laundry. This level walks out to the backyard and lake. We provide chairs for enjoying the firepit, a paddle boat and double kayak with paddles. We also have a propane grill and an outdoor dining area with an octagonal picnic table that seats 8. Guest access Entire property except for owners' closet in finished basement, onsite garage and one shed. There is a second outdoor shed accessible for guests, containing life jackets, outdoor games, outdoor chairs, etc. Other things to note If the dates you'd like to book are not available, try checking out the listing for our sister cabin, Blue Moose Cabin - also lakeside, down the road. You may not have cell phone service in the area (AT&T and Verizon generally work, Sprint and T-Mobile do not), but can set up your phone for wifi calling once you're here. Internet service is very reliable. Our lot is 1.5 acres. On one side, our property line is treed, and very private. On the other side the neighboring cabin's property does closely border ours, as shown in pictures. Their guests are very respectful, as are ours, and we've never had a problem. Mountain Lakes is a peaceful community with a mix of seasonal vacationers and renters and year-round residents. Please keep noise to a minimum so that all of our community members can enjoy the peacefulness of our beautiful setting. We do have a few life jackets on site, but they may or may not fit the individuals in your party. Mountain Lakes requires that children 14 and under wear life jackets while boating on the lake. Our property is pet friendly for well-behaved pets. These must be disclosed to us at time of booking.
