The Captains Lodge is a charming vacation rental located in Cottesloe, Australia. The house is a Federation-style property that has been partly renovated, the front master bedroom has a modern, spacious ensuite and queen bedroom with wardrobe and reverse-cycle air-conditioning system (heating and cooling) giving it a unique character. Bedrooms: Master Bedroom: 1 Queen bed, reverse cycle air conditioning, built-in robes, and a sunlit aspect. Bedroom 2: 1 Queen bed, reverse cycle air conditioning, and a freestanding robe. Bedroom 3: Offers 2 King Single beds which converts to a King bed + additional mattress for additional child if needed. Please request upon booking * additional charge of $80. Bathroom: The lodge has a bathroom with a shower over a full-sized bath, a single vanity, and two separate toilets. Complimentary guest amenities include all natural hand wash, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, bath and beach towels. Kitchen: The fully equipped kitchen features a free-standing Blanco oven, a 5-burner gas cooktop with a wok burner, a Bosch dishwasher, microwave, a fridge, a small wooden centre island bench, breakfast bar with three stools. It opens up to the dining area. The kitchen is in its original form and has not been renovated. Dining: An extendable dining table can seat up to 6-8 people, and there is bench seating available with 3 stools for informal dining. Living Area: The light-filled living area at the front of the house is furnished with two sofas and a large wall-mounted 55-inch Samsung Smart TV with Netflix and high-speed internet. Children's Play Area: There's a dedicated area with various toys and games, which leads to the outdoor space. Outdoor Areas: Front Courtyard and verandah: Features a dining area, umbrella, and a BBQ with views through the beautiful iconic Cottesloe Norfolk Pine trees. A sunny aspect, with an outdoor table with seating for 6, and 2 day chairs overlooking the garden and a small lawn area. Laundry Facilities: The laundry facilities at the rear of the house include a washing machine, tumble dryer, a large double laundry sink, and an indoor clothesline that can be set up in the sleep out area at the rear of the house. Parking: Free verge parking is available at the front of the house for up to 4 cars. Family-Friendly: The lodge provides a cot and high chair free of charge upon request, making it suitable for families. Check-In: Guests have the option to meet and greet with the hosts or self-check-in. Detailed check-in instructions and location information will be provided prior to arrival. Please note that the back door is locked, and there is no access to the rear of the property. If you're traveling with little ones, we've got you covered. Children's Bundle - we love kids and we know how hard and exhausting it can be travelling with little ones. Please let us know if like to add it to your booking. Please note we have landscaping maintenance that are scheduled to mow the lawns fortnightly (Summer months only) and gardens monthly.
