Three Rivers Rest, is a restored 100yr old house in the historical town of Dungog, in the Hunter Valley and base of the Barrington Tops. This three bed house is pet friendly & perfect for up to two families or couples to ride, relax and enjoy the views of the Cooreei Hills. Close to The Common mountain bike tracks and a stroll to Dungog's emerging arts scene, historical James Theatre, Tin Shed Brewery, cafes, restaurants and boutiques. The space You will feel right at home with all the modern touches to this country cottage. Relax on the large verandah overlooking the Cooreei Hills and watch all the bird life in the many trees around the property. The lounge is equipped with a new Qled TV with most streaming services included. Each bedroom leads out through french doors to the verandah to let cooling breeze flow through the house. For those who love to cook - the kitchen is equipped with a 90 cm oven and large gas cooktop to cook up a feast. All your coffee needs are catered for with a Nespresso machine and milk frother and pods provided. In the cooler months everyone can congregate around the wood burning fire in the dining room or by the piano in the sitting room. There is also an electric fireplace in the lounge room. Relax in the recently redesigned bathroom which boasts a comfortable large clawfoot bath and art deco features. Outside, laze in the sun by the pool during the day and roast marshmellows by the firepit at dusk and into the evening. The three bedroom layouts are as follows: Bedroom 1: Queen bed plus desk/workspace overlooking view off deck Bedroom 2: King bed or 2 singles plus a single trundle Bedroom 3: Queen bed plus single bunk beds in a separate room off this bedroom - perfect for parents and two young kids. For mountain bikers - coming soon we will have a bike prep/cleaning station and separate secure bike storage. Guest access You will have access to the whole property which is a private half-acre double block looking over Dungog. Other things to note This is a pet friendly home with a fully fenced yard for dogs to run about. We ask that you clean up after your dog and that they are not allowed on the furniture. Thank you.
