Welcome to Peace of Pepin! This house was named for how we want you to feel during your stay here. We love Pepin! The Lake is incredible. The sunrises, the sunsets, the sounds and the soul of Pepin await just out the front door. You’ll likely see eagles, you may see pelicans, you’ll definitely see sail boats. Pepin is a magical place, and we’ll do everything we can to make your stay as enjoyable as we can. Centrally located to wineries, wedding venues, the water, and many hidden gems... The space Welcome to our home - we are directly across from the public beach. We have recently (April 2024) renovated the second story deck (above the porch) and added a hot tub (access granted at check in after reserving guest has signed the deck and hot tub waiver) for more amazing views. The home has three bedrooms (two bedrooms with king beds, one bedroom with 2 twin beds) plus a study on the main floor off of the living room that has a queen murphy bed and curtains for privacy. It also has two bathrooms with showers and a 1/2 bath on the main floor. Our favorite room is the large 4-season porch with table and (newly added) porch swing- our favorite place to watch sunrises with coffee, play games, and watch the amazing sunsets, all the while playing our favorite tunes on the Sonos speaker system. There is plenty of parking in the driveway for up to eight cars. Guest access You'll have access to the entire home except for the back storage room and basement. Other things to note Since we are right on the lake, there are trains that run by several times a day. We find them charming and nostalgic! We provide sound machines and fans if the noise would bother you at night. If this is a deal breaker for you, please don't book. Also, we do allow one dog for a fee of $75 per stay, per dog. Access to the 2nd story deck w/hot tub is granted after reserving guest signs the deck and hot tub waiver, which must be signed three days prior to check-in. All guests that use the hot tub must sign the waiver. A link to the waiver will be sent to reserving guest who can forward to other guests. Alternatively there is a QR code provided on-site for guests to use their mobile device to sign the waiver.
