RIVER One, The Flesherton Mill (BVSC Suite Haus)

A "river runs through it," literally. The Flesherton Mill Duplex resides on the Boyne River, in the heart of Flesherton, Ontario. The original Woolen Mill was built in 1863 by the son of William Kingston Flesher after whom the village was named. After purchasing this stunning property, we transformed the historical place into two beautiful residences. We love living and shredding in the Beaver Valley and wanted to create a piece of comfy, high-class paradise for friends and guests to enjoy! The space RIVER One is one of two units at the Flesherton Mill Duplex. It is an open-concept living space with three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and heated floors throughout. The main floor boasts a fully stocked kitchen with Bosch appliances, including an induction stove and fridge with a great ice maker. The huge granite island with 4 bar stools separates the kitchen from the living and dining area. There is a super comfy (sleep-worthy) sectional couch facing the 75" Smart TV over the electric fireplace in the Living Room. One main floor bedroom has a king bed with a Douglas mattress, a cozy duvet, an armoire to hang your clothes, a workstation, and a 55" Smart TV. The second bedroom has two single over double bunks with Douglas Mattresses, comfy duvets, a dresser for clothes, and a 55" Smart TV. The third-bedroom suite is upstairs. It boasts a king bed with a Douglas Mattress, a 55" Smart TV, a dresser for clothes, a sitting area by the electric fireplace, and a full bathroom ensuite with heated floors and a shower. The main floor bath has heated floors and a shower. High-speed internet throughout the unit as well as special receptacles for charging and power needs. A Bose blue tooth speaker and multi-colour LED lighting create a fun atmosphere for the nights you want to get your dance on or you are in a colourful mood. This cozy abode is decorated with original pieces of art from local artist Katherine Carson " KATA". A large mudroom at the back of the unit has plenty of hooks for jackets/towels, a boot dryer for the shredders, and warming rocks under the bench to dry your wet mitts/gloves in the winter. There is also a beautiful custom Ski/Snowboard rack outside the front door. The laundry room is downstairs with an Electrolux washer/dryer, laundry tub, and a tuning bench. Hungry? A Weber BBQ is ready to go for when you get those fresh steaks from "Maxwell Meats" just down the road. Relax you say? An 8-person hot tub sits under the covered porch overlooking the river and falls; In addition to the above, The Flesherton Mill offers many ways to relax besides swimming in the neighbouring pond or dipping your feet in the river: The SHARED OUTDOOR SPACE includes a sauna nestled in the woods beside the river; or cozy up in your warmest flannel and sit in the "Georgian Bay Chair Co" Muskoka Chairs by the large fire pit beside the river. The Flesherton Mill design and renovation were inspired by the Riders Palace in LAAX, Switzerland; Peppers in Gold Coast Australia, and of course the "Beaver Valley Lifestyle." We love amazing comfortable places to stay and we wanted this unit to represent some of our favorite things. With the talent and expertise of Caleb Bosse from Bosse Contracting, together we brought life back into this historical Mill and we cannot wait to share the experience with you!
