Bring the whole family and boat to this modern home with lots of room for fun. Kids can enjoy toys and games, a trampoline, and a swing set. Relax and entertain on the large deck and enjoy the rural view. Soak in the spa under the stars, in winter, light the brazier so you can sit outside all evening. Message us if you require a specific weekend as we may be able to accommodate you. The space Modern and spacious home away from home. Perfect for families or groups wanting to relax, unwind or entertain. A private home and garden with neighbors not too close. A rural setting with a huge flat lawn to enjoy games of cricket or soccer, leading down to the paddock where you can visit our super friendly sheep and pigs. The animals are completely self-sufficient but you are welcome to feed them your fruit and veggie scraps (no meat) and give them a belly scratch, they will love you for it! Plenty of room for boat parking and washing. A fish filleting bench is around the back. Walk down through the paddock to the gate at the bottom near the huge totara trees and meander through our native bush, build a hut or visit the small stream at the bottom. Help yourselves to our veggie and herb garden and fruit trees. Enjoy our home and make it your own for your stay. Music and gatherings are welcome but please be respectful with noise and behavior. Do NOT light the brazier in the summer months (October - May) as there is a fire ban. Small dogs are welcome as we have kiwis in our bush so no big dogs, please. Guest access The entire home. We can accommodate up to 10 people if you require a mattress on the floor of one room - please enquire (extra charge per extra person). Baby bed and extra portable cot is also provided. Other things to note Please be aware of kiwi in our area, drive slow down on our gravel road to keep dust at a minimum, and be safe around the kids riding or playing on the road. Our road is a neighborhood watch area, any fast driving or unruly behavior will be reported. Recycling bins are around the back of our house - please clean and separate them into the correct bins - we will take care of the rest. Rubbish - Green rubbish sacks - in kitchen draw - Collected from our letterbox grass area on Thursdays (please only put it out by Thursday morning so the animals don't get into it) if you leave before Thursday please leave the green rubbish sacks in the black bins around the back of the house and we will put it out for you. WATER - please be mindful of your water usage - in the summer months especially as we are on tank water.
