Welcome to our Mountain Retreat just steps away from the base of Blackcomb Mountain, in the center of the Upper Village. Located in the Upper Village, the suite is an easy 2 minute walk to the Blackcomb Gondola and a short walk or bike ride to the base of Whistler Mountain and main village. Everything is just a few minutes away! After your day of adventure, you can enjoy a relaxing evening by the fireplace or step out for a world class adventure on the town. The space Please note - our pool & hot-tub is currently closed for renovation. Rates have been adjusted accordingly. Our location remains second to none, just steps from the Blackcomb Gondola. Our suite is warm & welcoming with a touch of classic mountain retreat. Each room has been thoughtfully furnished to ensure everyone has what they need and space to relax. It's your home away from home! A favorite design aspect of the suite is the generously sized entryway. It's big enough to store away all of your winter or summer gear, with a bench, cubbies and hooks. In the open living room you'll find plenty of comfortable seating with a sofa & two leather club chairs, a 40” Smart TV, Bluetooth speakers and beautiful gas fireplace**. A unique feature is that the queen sofa bed can be converted to a private sleeping area by simply closing the privacy curtains! Our kitchen is fully equipped and ready for anything from a quick snack to a culinary adventure. There is a full sized refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher and a coffee station to make your perfect cup of coffee - choose from traditional drip or pour-over. We have an assortment of quality cookware, utensils (including proper knives), kettle, toaster and just about anything else you can think of. In the bedroom you’ll find a King bed featuring an assortment of different types of pillows, and extra topper for added comfort. There is a second 50” Smart TV along with a chest of drawers and larger closet so that you can truly settle in. At the back of the bedroom is a small “bonus bunk room” with newer Twin XL beds. It’s perfect for the kids or teens who need their own space. All of the beds have 100% cotton linens, hypo-allergenic duvets and extra blankets are available in the suite. The full bathroom is very spacious with a deep tub, and newer “wash-let”/soft close toilet lid. We provide plenty of bath linens for use in the suite. There are several closets to tuck all your things away as well as various supplies that might come in handy. The suite is perfect for those needing increased accessibility. The doorways are wide enough for most wheelchairs & walkers and our bathroom meets minimum accessibility requirements. Glacier Lodge boasts a "hotel like" experience with Front Desk, onsite Day Spa and Liquor Store. Within steps of the front door is wonderful selection of restaurants, pubs, a grocery store and other retail outlets. **IMPORTANT** The courtyard & pool area is currently under maintenance and closed until Late Fall 2026. It is an active project with workers present M-F, 8am-4pm. This should not interrupt most guests however we want all to be aware of the current situation. The current expected re-opening date is late November / early December 2026. These dates could change. Guest access You will enjoy the entire suite! There is easy year-round access to a fitness room and shared laundry-room. You'll love being located steps from the elevator! Our building has good accessibility with an entryway ramp, and handicap parking. Other things to note The Glacier Lodge is considered one of the premiere locations in the Whistler Village. It is literally just a few steps from the gondola making access to the lifts a breeze! Our suite is in a coveted location within the building as it is an "inside corner", meaning it's a unique L-shaped layout that makes it feel bigger, and offering more privacy to guests. There is secure ski/snowboard storage in the winter and locked bike room available in the summer - both are on the main level. Please inquire at the front desk for details.
