Queen St private bed & bath - not a bsmt or condo!

Description

CENTRAL - on a quiet side street but just a 3 minute walk to Queen West or Dundas St and 3 different transit lines. Within 10 min walk of Kensington Market, Little Italy, Chinatown, King West, and Trinity Bellwoods Park. NOT A BASEMENT! And not some ghost hotel condo. It'll just be you and me in my home I've lived in for 15 years (renos in 2016). It's a big place so we won't trip over each other. Your bedroom has a small desk, and your bathroom is large, clean, and modern. The space For those new to Airbnb, "private room" means you get a room in my house - not the whole house to yourself (you're more than welcome to share the kitchen, dining, and other spaces with me too, of course). Though my house is large, you will be the only guest(s). Your private bedroom (approx. 14' x 10' / 4.23m x 2.95m) is located on the 2nd floor, and your bathroom is just down the hall (I don't use it during guest visits so you can keep your toiletries there). The kitchen and dining room are on the main floor. The house was built in 1900, by the same architect as Massey Hall (historic concert venue), the Gladstone Hotel (now a boutique hotel), and the Anthropologie on Queen St. West (a former church). He also designed several residential and commercial buildings for the prominent Massey (farm equipment) and Eaton (department store) families. Guest access There is plenty of room for your food in the fridge, and you're welcome to eat at the two stools in the kitchen, or spread out in the adjacent dining room. The backyard is nice and private, and you're welcome to chill out there too. I have high speed internet service and there are no data caps. Temporary street parking permits can be purchased through the City of Toronto's website and I can print it out for you. Price including taxes: 24 hours — $16.81 48 hours — $25.22 (under $13/day) 7 days — $38.86 (under $6/day) During your stay I sometimes work from home, and I'm usually around and happy to answer any of your local questions, or share any recommendations if you like. I've lived in this neighbourhood for over 20 years. I'm easy going, so we can interact as much or as little as you'd like. The house has 3 floors so there is plenty enough room for us all to enjoy our own space. Other things to note Also a short walk away: • 2 large grocery stores, both with alcohol (Loblaw's 650m/0.4 mi, FreshCo 600m/0.4 mi) • large pharmacy (Shoppers Drug Mart 600m/0.4 mi) • 2 beer stores (Beer Store 550m/0.3 mi, 700m/0.4 mi) • liquor store (LCBO 550m/0.3 mi) I can't even count how many coffee places are nearby! There are tons of indie shops to get your caffeine fix, or chains like Starbucks, Tim Horton's and McDonald's all within a 5 minute walk. Registration Details STR-2009-GQKRPG
