We offer a beautiful house, a worthy example of typical Andean architecture, located in La Mucuy Baja, which is a small village of artisans and peasants in the heart of the Andes, 12 km from the city of Mérida. Its nature is lavish in landscapes of great beauty, its climate is cool. From there you can walk to the Sierra Nevada National Park where an infinity of hiking, trekking and mountaineering trails begin. A magnificent place to enjoy the Andes! The space The house has 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with shower, joined by a hallway. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, the second bedroom has a single bed and a bunk bed, the bottom of which is a double bed and the top is a single bed; the third bedroom has a single bed. In each room there are closets, nightstands, mirrors, etc. The living room and dining room with fireplace form an integrated space, but separated by a drop from the kitchen. The laundry room is in the back of the house. Outside the house we have a garden with fruit trees and flowers, 2 parking lots with separate entrances, as well as an auxiliary hut with a semi-roofed terrace and a barbecue. The spaces outside the house are joined with walkways. The accommodation is suitable for families and groups of travelers. Guest access Comfortable and safe environment. Supply of bedding and towels, as well as cleaning and hygiene products. Tea, coffee, condiments and basic seasonings available. The kitchen utensils needed to prepare, preserve, and heat food. Luggage can be left without charge on arrival/departure days from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. Your co-host, who is a native of the village, lives in the neighboring house. He will be happy to help with anything you may need and even, in special cases, he could accompany you. The house is in La Mucuy Baja, which is a small village located at an altitude of 1850 meters above sea level, in the heart of the Meridian Andes, extending along the Chama River. Most of the houses in the village retain the tradition of Andean construction, which gives La Mucuy Baja the flavor of colonial times. Its nature is lavish in natural landscapes of great beauty. It is a cool climate area, where people live mainly from handicrafts and agricultural activities, including trout farming. Here you will find several artisans famous for their wood carvings of saints, animals and characters. In addition, ceramic and stoneware pieces, glass lamps, stained glass, wrought iron, wooden furniture, blankets and baskets are manufactured in La Mucuy and its surroundings. From La Mucuy you can walk to the Sierra Nevada National Park where an infinity of hiking and trekking routes begin to access the countless waterfalls, lagoons, streams, torrents and streams, sheets, valleys, moors, mountain formations and snow-capped peaks of the Andes. In addition, the surroundings of La Mucuy are mandatory stops for birdwatching tours. A magnificent place to enjoy the Merideños Andes!
