Sunlight glistens in every one of the 3 bedrooms of this home, as well as the private office / library / granny flat. Providing you not only space to unwind but to get creative and do your best work. Curl up by the fireplace with books provided. Snack on oranges from the yard as you entertain on the large deck. Let go & find yourself here. The space 3 bedrooms 3 bathroom + Office/Guest Suite. Pool (with a safety CoverPro cover) A Spa with cover. All the lovely details below. Sleeps 7 - 11. If your group size is larger than 7, prior notification is required so the additional beds will be brought to the property. Bring the whole family, with 2,200 square feet there is plenty of room to spread out. There is a dreamy master suite with its own bathroom. The master has a cooling copper adaptive Cal King mattress, providing a plush yet breathable nights. There are his and hers closets with custom dressers and organizers for all your things. A walk in shower in the bathroom invites you with mother of pearl tiles, a nook for all your showering goodies. Spread out all your cosmetics there is a gorgeous ornate double sink vanity. The second bedroom is to the right of the master, it has a EuroTop Queen mattress. Large his and hers closet system with bifold doors. Lovely shutters over the windows allow you to open and view the tropical plants outside or shut for a nice dark room to sleep in. There is also a good sized oak desk if you feel like doing any work privately in the room. Bedroom three is to the right of the second bedroom, it has a guest bath just across from it. There is a daybed with an encased coil mattress. Providing pressure relief and reduced motion transfer. For larger groups, an additional twin trundle mattress underneath can be provided if notified ahead of time. There is a closet system, and a bin organizer for toys. For additional entertainment this room has a TV, in case guests have interests in different programs. The tv has a Roku set up to link to many streaming options. The curtains are double layer with a whimsical lace on the outside and a thicker seafoam color black out curtain on the inside. The bathroom across the bedroom has a large walk in shower with a stunning accent wall of tile art, and a nook for your bathing goodies. There is also lots of space to get ready as the vanity is 42” in width and has a large apron sink. In addition to that there are plenty of drawers in the vanity for all your cosmetics. On the other wing of the house there is a multipurpose private space that can be used as an office or other things. It has its own separate entrance off the deck, and is connected to the living room by a lockable oversized pocket door. There is a spacious kitchenette there with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and sink. Conveniently positioned right off the deck, so it can be used while entertaining outside as well. This space is a whopping 400+ square feet and the adjacent deck another 380+ square feet. So you can bring grandma, or your in-laws ? They would not be in your way. There is a 3rd bathroom here, providing even more privacy and options for large groups. It has a mid century style, with a shower and 36” vanity. A huge oak desk and built-in bookshelf create a coffee shop style office nook. Proving you all you need to feel inspired and focused. Choose from a wide range of book selections from spiritual, health, coding, wealth, self improvement, and dozens of popular children's books too. In the cabinets there are games and instruments. Stretch your legs and maybe even take a nap on this 91’ wide, 39’ depth soft leather sofa. Awesome Spectrum internet with an AMPLIFI Alient router.This space can be used for sleeping and additional air mattresses can be provided for larger groups with prior notification. The living room has an open floor plan, the home has stunning french wide plank oak flooring throughout. No expense was spared here. There is a gas fireplace and large flat screen tv above it, connected to an xbox. You may stream your favorite shows with it or even get in a little bit of gaming. Off of the living room there is a sliding glass door to the right that opens up to a balcony. Sit on the art deco vintage garden chairs and sip your favorite coffee as you watch the hummingbirds and butterflies that visit regularly. Cook up a feast in this chef's kitchen. A professional Viking stove, Bosch dishwasher and LG french door insta view fridge await you. Plenty of deep drawers for storage, a huge 8ft+ island all provide space for your friends and family to gather. Just off the island there is a wide 6ft+ bench where you can hang out under the window and gaze out to the grassy front yard. See everything you have in the custom walk in butcher block pantry with barn doors. Stay so fresh and clean with an indoor laundry room. Providing a high capacity and high tech washer and dryer that can wash large loads. Steam clean, perm press, anti bacterial and so much more. Giving you all the comforts to have your clothing look its best. Time for some outdoor fun in the sun! There is a Salt Water Pool that is about 3.5 - 4.5 feet deep. Super wide to do all sorts of lap exercises or pool games like volleyball. For added delight the pool is lightly solar heated. The pool gets heated just enough to take the bite off, during Spring, Summer and Fall. The heating does not work very well in the winter as the panels do not heat the water well when it is cloudy. So do not expect a warm pool on cloudy or partial cloudy days. Please note hotels and other properties usually use non solar heating and they heat their pools to over 80 degrees. Our pool is just gently heated in the low 70’s in the fall and spring, and then it can reach the low 80’s in summer. This is not a guarantee again as it is controlled by solar and not us, so do not count on it, but if it happens to be the temperature you like then just enjoy it. The pool also has a CoverPro that is controlled by a key switch, you can cover the pool with a switch of a key and you may leave it open if you wish. The yard has over a dozen orange trees providing plenty of colorful edible privacy. There is even a Loquat tree that fruits a few months out of the year. After you are done swimming head on over to the deck where you can enjoy some jetted time in the spa. The spa has a cover also. On the deck you will enjoy a good sized propane bbq, and outdoor sofa and coffee table. Additional outdoor dining table and chairs will be provided upon request. This extra large deck is off of the guest suite that has the kitchenette and on suite bathroom so guests can wash off after a swim without making the rest of the home messy and they can wash their hands and clean or prep dishes in the kitchenette. The front yard boasts a spacious and wide grassy lawn, ideal for even some fun ball games. There is an Avocado tree that fruits part of the year, and a maple tree providing lovely shade. Whatever your desire is in a short term rental in Ojai, this house aims to provide that. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home, front and back yards, pool and spa. For parking the driveway and street parking is available. The garage is not available for guests, and neither is the storage shed in the backyard. This is where we keep our operating items for the property. One of the bathrooms has a bathtub that is not hooked up so please do not use the tub. We are not including the tub as part of the listing. The property sleeps 7, but can sleep up to 11 upon request. Other things to note 1-2 dogs may be considered. Guests must submit their pets for owner consideration. No cats please. If your group size is larger than 7 please let us know so more sleeping arrangements can be provided. The house is set up normally for just 7 unless notified prior to your arrival. The hosts do not guarantee any specific temperature for the pool. Please remove your shoes when inside the home. No smoking or parties. There may be fees kept if any part of the inside of the property smells like smoke. The property has just been freshly painted, we will know. ;) Please takes pets for walks and do not allow them on the furniture or allow to pee/poop inside we have high end french solid wood wide plank oak floors, very expensive please protect the floors. If your pet poops in the yard please pick it up, there may be additional cleaning fees kept if you do not clean up after your pet. Please don't flush anything besides toilet paper down the toilets. Ojai has hard water, although we aim to scrub them off you may see calcium deposits on faucets, and shower handles. Also when you run the dishwasher the dishes may still show spots due to calcium deposits. This home receives routine monthly non toxic pest control. However please note that you are booking in Ojai which is a lush wooded area, by booking this property you may encounter all sorts of creatures and agree that you are ok with that. Including big possums at night, do not leave your small pets unattended. Please keep the doors shut so nothing gets inside. The cleaning fee includes a midterm cleaning after two weeks of check in.
