Were you raised in a barn? No! Us either but here’s your chance to stay in our cozy, converted dairy barn, perfect for a romantic getaway. For generations, the barn was used to milk the dairy cattle on our farmette nestled at the foothills of Massanutten Resort & the Skyline National Park. The Dairy Barn makes a perfect small gathering home place. Just wait until you see the views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the lofted bedroom & the breathtaking foliage from the screened porch. The Dairy Barn is such a unique space that we are so excited to share with you! You’ll love the spacious kitchen with quartz countertops, a full size oven and refrigerator & a spacious pantry. The finished concrete floors flow through the first floor & offer such a cool industrial vibe. On the first floor you’ll also find a living space with a sleeper sofa & a full bathroom with a custom tiled shower. Our favorite place may just be the screened porch located just off the kitchen, complete with a porch swing. The views from the bedroom loft are simply breathtaking. You’ll also find the laundry and a closet in the loft. Bring your favorite book & snuggle in the queen bed. Feel free to wander around the property! Check on our hens or say hi to our Golden, Boomer. You’ll have access to the entire private Dairy Barn, porches, yard & private parking. We live just down the pasture from the Dairy Barn. You’ll likely see our children & pets playing, & we will be happy to be as hands on or hands off as you’d like! The Dairy Barn is located just on the outskirts of the Town of Elkton. We are within walking distance to the convenience store & you may even hear the band practicing or the whistles from sporting events at the high school across the street. There is ample parking for 2-3 cars just outside the Dairy Barn. You will need to drive to access local amenities such as one of our favorites, Elkton Brewing!
