This small independent house, in which my grandmother lived, is located in an old renovated barn. It is 50 m2 and is composed as follows: - 1 living room with kitchen area (with essentials, oven, induction stove, microwave, coffee makers, toaster...) and sitting area - 1 bedroom with double bed 140 x 190 cm - 1 mountain corner with bunk beds (more for children) of 90 x 190 cm - 1 bathroom with walk-in shower -1 separate WC - 1 small laundry room with washing machine For your comfort, the house is heated by central wood heating (main room and bedroom radiators and hot water towel dryer). Markets in neighboring municipalities are held several times a week. Village constituting a pretty gateway to the Royans-Vercors (within the Vercors Regional Natural Park), Saint-Thomas en Royans offers beautiful hiking or mountain biking, from the river bank to the hills, some of which start from the cottage. The view of 3 iconic sites of Vercors is magnificent: The cirque de Combe Laval, Les Gorges de la Bourne, Les Goulets. The cottage is located 2 steps from the Bourne River, very pleasant in summer, which is a natural border between Drôme and Isère. Many remarkable sites or activities are located in the direct vicinity of the cottage (less than 10 minutes): - Pont-en-Royans and the hanging houses - Saint-Nazaire-en-Royans, its aqueduct, the paddle boat, the Thaïs cave... And a little further away, about 30-40 minutes: - The Abbey of Saint-Antoine, Romans and its shoe museum, Vassieux-en-Vercors and the Resistance Museum - Access to the Vercors plateau with its summer activities and winter resorts (Font d'Urle, Col de Rousset, Herbouilly, Villard de Lans, Autrans-Méaudre...). - Choranche Cave - The ideal palace of Facteur Cheval Finally, discover the local gastronomy with ravioli, walnut specialties, cheeses...
