On a starry night you can watch the stars from here. Other things to note Among the traditions worth seeing on Föhr are the Biike burning and ring riding tournaments (between June and August). Also, you should not miss the traditional fire department festivals in Nieblum and the island villages. In August, the harbor festival is celebrated with live music and a breathtaking fireworks display (Föhr-On-Fire). The island of Föhr charges a visitor's tax: €5.50 per day (March 1 to October 31) and €1.80 per day (the rest of the year). Children and teenagers up to 18 years are free.
