It is also only 10 minutes away from the famous Las Cruces farmer's market which happens every Saturday morning of the year. If you're looking for a more adventurous day it's only a 50-minute trip to the beautiful White Sands National Park. At the park, you can spend time hiking, sledding down the brilliant white dunes, and enjoy a picnic while watching the sunset.
