Description
The Gîte is located in the Château de Sivignon, most of which was destroyed at the end of the 19th century. Ancient and imposing medieval castle with seven towers, today it is the smallest. Transformed into a huge stone quarry, its ruins enabled the construction of the village and more particularly the Town Hall, the school, the presbytery and the church. The gîte is located in a beautiful green and very quiet countryside to recharge your batteries. The space You will be accommodated on the ground floor in an independent apartment including a kitchen living room, 2 bedrooms and a workspace. Direct access to the terrace will allow you to relax, recharge, enjoy a natural setting in a large green wooded park. This large outdoor area equipped with garden furniture, sunbeds, will also allow children to frolic and enjoy outdoor games that will make them happy. You can also enjoy a reading break under a majestic hundred-year-old walnut while contemplating the loopholes of the last tower of the castle. Walks from the cottage, on foot or by bike, will allow you through its meadows , forests and ponds , to admire this countryside located on the edge of Charolais and Clunysois. An enclosed space is available to safely store bicycles, motorcycles. The price includes electric heating charges up to 8 kWh per day (cost beyond on meter reading at actual - 0.20 cts kWh). Guest access The cottage is independent and fully equipped. Access is private as well as parking and terrace.
