Located just above the shores of Clam Cove, this property not only has beautiful views of Penobscot Bay from the deck, but from almost every point of the home. The many windows and bright decor offer natural light throughout. The primary bedroom is privately located at one end of the upstairs with its own en suite bathroom. The other queen bedroom also has spectacular ocean views with a shared hall bathroom. Sit near the shore and roast marshmallows for s'mores by the outdoor firepit or enjoy lobsters on the deck or shoreside picnic table. Cozy and well-equipped, this cottage is a perfect jumping off point for exploring the Midcoast. There is great fishing for striped bass in Clam Cove at high tide, and it is a short drive to one of the best fishing spots in the Midcoast, complete with a scenic lighthouse at the Rockland Breakwater. Striped bass, cunner, mackerel are also possibilities at the Rockland Harbor. Neighboring towns of Rockland and Camden are mere miles away and offer plenty of restaurants, art events, galleries, and shops to enjoy, and the Samoset Resort, with championship golf course, is a half mile down the road. In Rockland, you can catch the ferry to near by year round populated islands. As stunning colors reflect off the water at sunset, watch the wooden schooners maneuver into the cove for a quiet, safe anchorage. **There is a detached garage on the property with one year-round resident that lives above it.   Other things to note Smoking Is Not Permitted anywhere on or inside of any of our rental properties nor are those who may partake in tobacco smoking allowed to occupy any of our properties.
