The Beach House on Lake Travis

Our house is right on the lake with a private dock. While most properties on Lake Travis are at least an hour from downtown, our location is only 35 minutes from downtown Austin so you can enjoy the lake and nightlife. Great for couples and families with kids. Not suitable for events or loud parties. ***We have water by our dock! NO TRAILER PARKING at the house (driveway does not permit) and message me direct for renting our Pontoon Boat w/ Captain*** The space My husband and I fell in love with Lake Travis and often come here to recuperate when the outside world gets too noisy. At our home, you'll find a haven to unwind, have a glass of wine, a stocked kitchen to prepare meals and all the sounds nature has to offer (cicadas, crickets and more wonderful noises!). We are situated in a quiet, beautiful corner of Lake Travis called Mermaid's Cove, just a 7 minute walk or a 2 minute ride by boat to Sundancer Grill (bar, restaurant etc). Our home includes direct access to Lake Travis with a three boat dock, one slip can be used to store your rental or owned boat for the perfect Austin weekend. (please inquire as water levels fluctuate greatly) There is a large grill, ample outdoor furniture (4 chairs, 2 loungers on our deck, two sitting areas on our main balcony and a living area located in the master bedroom balcony) and three parking spots for your group (2 cars will fit in our covered car port, 1 car behind that in our driveway. The extra long drive way is not a suitable place for more cars as you will need the room to turn your cars around (please do not use our neighbor's driveway). Bedrooms: Master Bedroom: 1 king size bed, 60" flat screen TV and full walk in closet 2nd Bedroom: queen size bed 3rd Bedroom: two bunk beds for a total of 4 twin size beds and a walk in closet Living Room: two pull out queen/full sofa beds, 60" flat screen TV *TV's equipped for Netflix or apps - no cable option at this time. Dining table will fit 8-10 people plus the kitchen bar seats another 4 people. The living room is a spacious open floor plan that opens to the dining room and kitchen. This large space has three sets of French doors opening to the balcony over looking back yard, boat dock and of course, Lake Travis. Backyard is a gorgeous sloping lawn of beautiful lush green grass leading to the boat dock. Perfect for lawn games, lounging or a picnic. The boat dock includes a fire pit, out door rug with 6 lounge chairs and a swim up ladder for jumping into the lake. The yard is surrounded by beautiful lush green trees offering just enough privacy from neighbors. You'll love it here! Guest access The entire property is yours to enjoy! Other things to note We also have a security camera located on the back deck facing the lake. This is here for security as well as to monitor the water levels (record flooding in 2018!).
