A sunny, spa-like retreat in a quiet university neighborhood, this stand-alone studio is a perfect weekend get-away or a visit to the University of Virginia. Walk to restaurants and shopping at Barracks Road and the Downtown Mall or events at UVA and JPJ Arena. Take a short drive through the countryside to visit Monticello, Montpelier, local wineries and breweries, the Shenandoah National Park or the Blue Ridge Parkway. The space This 300 square-foot studio features a rustic stone fireplace, wood floors, high ceilings, a kitchenette, and a modern bathroom with a heated tile floor. A comfortable queen murphy bed folds out of the way to create a generous living/dining area. An aerobed can be provided for additional guests. The studio has a separate entrance that opens onto a shared covered breezeway and a sunny terrace in a landscaped yard with a hammock. There is also a brand-new private outdoor shower (and sauna to come!) Off-street parking is available. Guest access 912 Studio guests have access to the studio, breezeway, backyard, and outdoor shower area. Other things to note When we travel, we love to park our car and make our way on foot as much as possible. From our studio, you can reach UVA Grounds within a 20-minute stroll; JPJ is just a 15-minute walk through a neighborhood cut-through; and the Downtown Mall is an easy 25-minute walk or a quick Uber ride away.
