Anawhata Cabin

Relax and unwind in this architecturally designed minimalist cabin situated in the heart of the Waitakere ranges regional park. Enjoy total privacy and seclusion in this wild location only 45 minutes drive from Auckland cbd. The space There are two generous sized bedrooms with queen sized beds with a cot available for use. There is an outside bath for you to enjoy surrounded by native bush where you can watch the birds or star gaze. Open plan living room and kitchen space with full cooking amenities, blue tooth speaker and wood burner fire. Upstairs is a mezzanine floor with TV nook with Netflix and Disney plus streaming. There's also a work from home space if you need it. Please note while infants and children are welcome to our home there are some safety considerations as the house is not child proof. There is currently no safety gate on the stairs or around the fire if used. The deck also has edges that do not have a barrier, While these heights are within the legal limit for not needing a balustrade it may be something for you to consider. Pets are also welcome to the property with prior approval but please note that they are not allowed on the furniture and please pick up after them. The property is also not fenced or gated outside. Other things to note Anawhata Road Access to the house is down Anawhata road which is a gravel road. All vehicles are suitable for the road but if you haven’t driven on a gravel road before please take care, drive slowly and keep to the left as there is no marked centre line. Cell phone reception We have Spark network coverage at the house but no Vodafone or 2 degrees coverage
