In a quiet street, behind vibrant Camberwell Junction, this newly renovated apartment is a stylish haven. Beyond the brick facade of the 1950's complex the apartment is a surprising gem. At the front of the block with private entry, a large north facing corner window provides a broad and beautiful outlook through the trees across to Hawthorn. Character details have been retained and all the conveniences required for modern living have been added. You will be so pleased you found this little gem. The space The apartment was renovated throughout 2022 with careful consideration to open up the living and entry, maximising access to the northern light that floods the first floor. Original brick work has been exposed and painted, Japanese tiles from Artedomus feature in the kitchen and bathroom and the luxurious 100% wool carpet in the bedroom is from Cavalier Bremworth. The kitchen features fully integrated appliances including fridge, freezer and dish drawer. There is a gas cook top and full oven as well as a new microwave. All the essentials for cooking are provided. The living room has a built in bench seat with custom leather cushion and a sublime outlook through the trees. Entertainment is via a brand new LG OLED TV and Sonos sound bar. Wifi is provided and you may log into your own subscription services. The new sofa and swivel leather chair are from King Living. In winter the bathroom floor heating will be turned on for extra cozy comfort. The double shower has both a rain head shower and flexible rail shower as well as a ledge for all toiletries. Hunter Lab hand and body wash, shampoo and conditioner are provided for guests. The brand new Country Road towels are dried in the dryer so they're super soft and fluffy. The queen bed and linen sheets are also brand new and so comfy. There is a second TV in the bedroom and remote controlled block out blinds. A chest of drawers and wardrobe with coat hangers is available for guests use. There is a small private patio to enjoy the afternoon sun. Please note, the apartment is on the first floor, access is via the staircase at the front of the building. Other things to note Please read the house rules prior to requesting to book. The property is only available for private residential accommodation by the guests listed on the booking. The maximum occupancy is two. The property is NOT available for any type of filming or photography or to conduct events or meetings or activities to derive income.
