Thoughtfully remodeled historic home built in 1808, ideally located about 20 minutes from Dulles International Airport, 7 miles to historic downtown Leesburg, 11 miles to Middleburg, and 20 miles to Dulles International Airport5 miles to Aldie. This home is just around the corner from Oatlands Historic House & Gardens. The second dwelling on the property is currently being restored and cannot be rented. This location is in the heart of Loudoun County's Civil War history sites and wineries. The space This home can comfortably fit four adults. The main, tan colored home is where you would stay and is a fully updated federal home, lovingly restored with thoughtful attention to detail. The kitchen has marble counters, stainless steel appliances, gas range, double oven, a Keurig with plenty of coffee pods and a variety of teas, spices to use, air fryer, and a deep farmhouse sink. There is also both antique and/or modern china to choose from. This home also has its original oak hardwood floors throughout, built-in bookshelves, Dish satellite cable for the television in the main living space and master bedroom, board/card games, various other activities, and much more! The main level bedroom has a full bath with a washer/dryer. The upstairs loft can be used as a second, private bedroom, with two queen sized beds, desk, and sitting area. There is also a 2nd dwelling (the brick structure behind the main home) that is currently vacant and being restored. This was the blacksmith's home of Oatlands but at this time, is not being rented. This property is in a convenient location with easy access to Rt. 15, Rt. 7, and 267. It is in a prime location to visit downtown Leesburg (7 miles away), Middleburg (11 miles away), Aldie (5 miles away), and more! Over 20 wineries nearby, breweries/cideries as well, and Oatlands Historic House and Garden is right around the corner. Guest access Whole house including one master bedroom with a king bed, one loft with two queen beds, and 1 bathroom. Other things to note * Comfortably fits four adults. * This home has 2 charcoal grills (Weber and open flame). No gas grill on-site. Please provide your own charcoal but there is firepit wood on site. * WiFi is Verizon High Speed with Roku TV * One small dog (30 pounds or under) allowed for an additional $99 pet cleaning fee. Absolutely no cats or other animals allowed. Due to the historic nature of the pine floors & risk for scratching, we ask you have your pups nails trimmed and buffed prior to your stay.
