Cosy cottage with hot tub and outdoor space

A cosy converted barn in a lovely setting yet close to the A30 and convenient to beaches, walking ,cycling trails and sailing. Sleeping accommodation for 7 in the main house in snug bedrooms and sofa bed. However, for a modest additional charge a furnished glamping tent is available for an additional 2 people. Hot tub for 6 and bags of outdoor space to relax and entertain. Walking distance to local pub and convenience stores. We accept up to 2 well behaved dogs at an extra charge. The space The property is a small stone barn that has been extended. In front of the house is an area to relax that leads to a large lawn, perfect for playing games or just listening to the birds. The whole site is about a hectare and includes a small woods that are private and for you to enjoy. Seating and children's play areas are dotted around in the woods. The house and grounds would be ideal for a family or couples that finds plenty of private outside space attractive. However, the fast fibre broadband may also make the property appealing for those looking to work in a quiet setting in a lovely part of the country. All bedding and towels will be provided. We will also have a selection of games to play inside and outside. There is a firepit for the entertaining area and one in the glamping area (if booked) for which we will provide a free bag of logs. The hot tub will be available all day and night for your convenience. A travel cot and high chair are available on request. We only accept bookings from families and couples. Guest access There is a step up to the front door, but then the ground floor bedroom, bathroom and kitchen are on the same level. There is a spiral staircase to the other two bedrooms in the house. The entertaining area to the front of the house is on one level but is pebbled. Many of the paths in the woods can be negotiated by wheelchair. Other things to note A few extra points you may find useful: the glamping area, although "off grid", will have a separate toilet. A picnic table and fire pit makes this a nice secluded separate area away from the main house. We have room for one additional tent for up to 2 children should you wish to bring your own. A reminder that the tent is available for a modest extra charge and only for bookings of more than 7 nights. If you wish to book the tent, please show the guest number as 9 on the booking enquiry and the additional cost will be calculated. Please note that whist small children are welcome to use the play equipment, this is on the understanding that children are supervised and their safety is on the onus of parents. As quaint as the house is, it does have beams in the upstairs rooms which restricts head height in some places. Please note that the log burner in the lounge is not used during the spring and summer months. There is a resident cat who lives in the barn. His name is Tabby, he is lovely but very shy but you may see him around in the garden.
