Description

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of common areas for fun and relaxation. Architecturally designed 3-level house, cathedral ceiling, multiple living areas with views over Lake Illawarra and mountains. Minutes drive to Nantien temple, famous Port Kembla Beach, Windang, Wollongong, and Shellharbour Beach but still being center of local shops, cafes, restaurants, and all your shopping needs. Just over an hour away from Sydney, and 30 Minutes to Kiama. The space Our home is over 60 years old and, though greatly cared for, shows its age in some places. Expect to find some loving wear, charming patina, and quaint aging both inside and outside. You will own the whole house with private entry. Share with no one during your stay. The entry of the house is on the street level and has its own garden at the lower level, with well-organized living spaces in between. A couple of steps down from the entry to Kitchen/Liv/Din. rooms, then some steps down to the bedrooms, family area, and finally to the garden. The house offers 4 furnished bedrooms, 01 with ensuite, a full bathroom with a spa bath, and a separate toilet. Mini bar, lounge room, in-outdoor seating areas... sofabeds, extra double air mattress available. Naturally and warm bedrooms designed with rustic, exposed bricks/timber, all with different bed covers make you feel at home - not in a Hotel. Family-friendly oriented, there is a high chair and porta-cot for your child if needed. Free WiFi, off-street parking, linen, towels, pillows, and quilts are all provided. Plenty of common spacious areas with great views for family activities and enjoyment. LINEN is supplied, including sheets/doonas and pillows/pillowcases/bath towels. Basic condiments and toiletries (ie body wash/shampoo) are provided. CLEANING FEE applies to each stay and is automatically calculated when you make your booking. Note that these fees only cover basic cleaning as per the Airbnb checklist; extra cleaning charges will apply if the property is not left in a respectful manner and the House Rules are not followed. SERVICE FEE is charged by Airbnb on all stays, and is automatically calculated when you make your booking. This is based on a % of the total booking cost. Please note that as hosts we do not receive this fee. A SECURITY BOND (refundable), if applicable, is in addition to the above tariff. Please note that Airbnb holds this security bond on our behalf. Any children who visit the property are requested to eat at the dining table and not on the soft furnishings in the living room or in the bedrooms. We ask you not to wear any shoes or boots inside the carpet areas and please do not leave stains on the carpet. We are fortunate to have awesome neighbours here, out of respect to them, please keep the noise down after 10 pm. We hope you enjoy your stay :) Guest access The entire house and outdoor areas, except for a locked owner's cupboard. The garage is currently not in use but you can park on the Driveway, also a lot of free street parking spaces are available. Other things to note Fully equipped kitchen/ breakfast bar for the whole family. Fully equipped Laundry with Washer and Dryer, Free high-speed internet / Smart TV with Netflix. The guest limits apply at all times during the booking. Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have been booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay. The Code of Conduct for holiday renting can be found on the NSW Planning website under the Guest Information tab. In Section 2.5.2 of the STR Code of Conduct, guests have an obligation to ensure the peace and comfort of neighbors near the holiday rental houses. This means guests must be very mindful of noise made in or outside the property that can disrupt neighbors at any time of the day. - Early check-in may be possible. When someone is leaving the apartment the same day, an early check-in time will always depend on the previous check-out. Charges may be applied, especially when the house must be blocked for the previous night. - We need about 3-5 hours to prepare the house and guests cannot use the apartment neither stay on the apartment while it's being prepared. -We can allow for a 1-2h late check-out at no cost if your group has children so they can sleep a bit more, please let me know in advance. - When it's not possible to have a late checkout, we let the guests leave their luggage in the house until as late as possible.
