Located in the trendy St. Clair West Village, you're just a 2-minute walk to transit and restaurants (both family-friendly and higher scale), butchers, bakeries and much much more! The space Our house has been completely renovated and is steps from St. Clair West and the streetcar! The space is completely private and comfortably situated in the warm basement of our family home. Complete with Queen bed (with heated mattress cover - thank you Scotland for teaching us the luxury of that particular invention), private bathroom, including shower, and modest meal prep area, it has everything the short to medium-term traveller would want. We absolutely respect your privacy, but also enjoy answering questions about the area and city! Guest access Entrance, downstairs bedroom and bathroom. Stairlift for easy access for elderly or mobility impaired. Folds away discretely when not in use. During your stay We will always be available but will respect your privacy. We give you your own key to the front door and are only a text away if you need help! We are a Queer family who works hard to create a safe, welcoming space for all folks. Other things to note Originally from Vancouver, I have hosted for years there on AirBnB and have enjoyed the experience immensely. We have fully insulated and soundproofed the ceiling of the downstairs bedroom space. We have two children who are typically awake around 7:30 on weekdays, but are still waking up and make very little noise as they head out the door to school. On weekends, they are well trained to stay in bed until 8am and we have a no noise policy until parents have had two coffees - usually around 10am.
