Amenities include : high speed internet, a convenience kitchen with coffee, tea, countertop oven, dishes, nutri-bullet , juicer, outside there are extensive flower and veg gardens to meander through, a quiet patio with a unique fireplace and gardens surrounding it to relax and enjoy the sounds of the birds . From April to October I offer a bed and breakfast service with fresh baked goods and fresh fruit and veg from the gardens right outside the door. Guests are free to explore the gardens, the second house and surrounding area are private and restricted . I give my guests space but am available when needed This is your vacation, I am as available as needed or hands-off as you want. You might see me working in the gardens, always feel free to say hi, never feel obligated to socialize, I love hosting and chatting with guests, but understand that not everyone wants to chat. This suite is situated on my small farm in a beautiful and idyllic landscape that is surrounded by other various types of farms; dairy, beef, goat, sheep and vegetable. With a mix of wide open hay and grazing fields, and woodlands, the views are beautifully serene, and the song-birds are aplenty. The farm is on a well maintained dirt road, that rarely has any traffic, and isn't visible from the house, it is a very quiet location, with the occasional normal sounds of neighbor activities that you would hear in an agricultural neighborhood. Middlebury and Middlebury College are about a 12-15 minute drive from here, and offer cute shops and a quintessential New England medium sized town experience. There are a multitude of restaurants, bakeries, natural foods coop, farmers markets, coffee shops, gyms, a golf course in Middlebury, and the area is full of outdoor activities like hiking, boating, swimming, skiing, etc. Downhill skiing is an easy 30 minute drive from the house at the Middlebury Snow Bowl , and we’re 1 hour from killington ski area, 1-1/2hour from Lake Placid and whiteface mountain in NY, 1-1/2 hour from Stowe, and 1 hour from Madd River , so you can Ski many places from this location without paying for overpriced ski-town accommodations !
