Located in a big garden among 4 other independent cabins, enjoy the tranquility of our spacious gardens and exclusive access to the private beach and dock. Welcome to the mountain retreat of your dreams! The space Welcome to Ruca Eden! Our cabin 'Ruqui' features 2 floors and 3 en-suite bedrooms. On the ground floor, you'll find the kitchen (renovated in 2023 and with an indoor grill), a spacious and bright living-dining room with a fireplace, and a balcony overlooking the lake and mountains. Also on this floor are 2 of the ensuite bedrooms (with their renovated bathrooms), one of them with a bunk bed, and the other with 2 single beds. On the first floor is the master bedroom, also with an ensuite bathroom and a whirlpool bathtub. The kitchen comes equipped with the necessary dishes and kitchen tools, and the bedrooms with linens and towels. The house is located on the first floor in relation to the parking area, meaning you'll need to go up stairs from the car level to the ground floor of the house. Guest access During your stay, you'll have full access to the shared 9000 m² property featuring gardens, 200 meters of private shoreline, two docks, a pond (functional only in summer), and a small chapel. Our caretaker resides on the premises and is available to assist you with anything you may need, including barbecues on the grill and optional cleaning service. We are in front of Arelauquen, just 20 minutes from downtown Bariloche. Other things to note We like to clarify that our cabins are rustic — they are not modern cabins. They are carefully maintained and have all the necessary amenities, such as a fully equipped kitchen, balanced draft gas heaters, and wood-burning stoves (salamandras), so you can enjoy a comfortable stay. One important thing to note: hot water is provided by large water heaters, but it is not unlimited like in a hotel. If everyone takes long showers, the hot water can run out and you’ll need to wait a while for it to heat up again. That’s why we recommend normal showers (around 10 minutes) and leaving a bit of time between each shower. This way, everyone can shower comfortably each day. The cabins are large and heated with balanced draft systems, but if you want extra warmth, we recommend keeping the wood stove on. Firewood is charged separately, depending on usage. Additional services (available at an extra cost): Homemade meals and additional cleaning services are available upon request. Booking and payment are arranged directly at the property with the caretakers, subject to availability.
