2 bedroom retreat @ The Base Lodge - Hunter Mtn.

A retreat for a small family, two couples, or two individuals, at the base of Hunter Mountain. We understand that there aren't many options for small group stays in our area and we want to change that. We have modified the 3 story home to be a retreat away for 2-4 people by offering the first floor only at a discounted rate. You'll be able to enjoy scenic views, high end amenities, a spacious living space, and adventurous surroundings all while feeling the comforts of home. The space *This is NOT a shared home. The upstairs bedrooms are closed off, only the first floor is available. While the home is 3 stories and equipped for groups of 16, we have closed off the top two floors in order to accommodate smaller groups at discounted rates. Our retreat guests can enjoy the first floor of our home with access to our fully stocked chef's kitchen, large dining area, lounge sectional, TV with live channel lineup, and very cozy bedrooms with queen beds. There is also a large patio with fire pit and BBQ grill and direct view of the Schoharie creek and Hunter Mountain. For families with infants, we do have a travel crib and high chair. We offer window air-conditioners in every bedroom during the SUMMER months, as well as a commercial AC unit in the 1st floor living room. *Please note: • AC units are not installed until mid/late June. The mountains still have very cold nights, often requiring the heat to be used. Please open the windows and let the fresh breeze in to naturally keep the house comfortable. There are ceiling fans in every bedroom to help circulate cool air also. • Outdoor dining sets, hammock, and furniture are stored away December 1 - April 1. Guest access Guests have full access of the first floor. The top 2 floors are closed off.
