LOIMU - a cozy place in the center of Äkäslompolo

The cottage-like and well-equipped end apartment of the terraced house is an excellent destination for socializing. The apartment has a central location, so you can easily reach shops, restaurants, safari companies and equipment rentals on foot. The airport and train buses almost take you to the driveway. Ski bus stops are also nearby. The apartment is ideal for two and also works well for families. Linen and towel sets can be ordered separately at 20 euros/person/booking. The space The property, built by a local family business, has received a lot of praise from visitors for its location, level of equipment and cleanliness. Downstairs there is a spacious and high-ceiling room - kitchen and bathroom. Upstairs (loft) there is a separate bedroom with an interior window, a Familon Hotel double bed (160 x 210 cm) and a sleeping area with a 120 x 200 cm mattress bed. The terrace opens to the south and west towards the Kuer mountain. Guests have access to a parking space with an electric pole. Loimu and our other property Korpi are located next to each other. If your party is larger, you can rent both if you want. We maintain the apartment ourselves, and on changeover days we do a thorough cleaning, including wiping the door handles. Nano coatings have been installed in the apartment to maintain a better level of hygiene. There are several equipment rentals and tour operators nearby. In winter, in addition to downhill skiing and cross-country skiing, you can try, for example, a fat bike, snowmobile, snowshoes, sliding shoes and winter fishing. You can also walk along the winter trails on top of several fells. In the summer, in addition to hiking, it is possible to ride an ATV and an electric bike, paddle and SUP boards. A versatile grocery store (Jounin Kauppa) is located next door, and in winter, visitors have a sled available for transporting purchases and going down the hill.
