The Lodge

The Lodge is a fully self-contained, newly converted one bedroom cottage offering a spacious open plan living/dining area, large kitchen, double bedroom and luxurious bathroom, all on one level. With off road parking, a cosy log burner and private outdoor space with seating area and hill views, the Lodge is a contemporary, light and airy holiday home for one or two people to enjoy. A five minute walk to the local supermarket, close to the Worcestershire Way and its links onto the hills. The space The Lodge has been lovingly converted over the past year into a self-contained, bright, open space with a high-quality, luxurious finish throughout. The large open plan lounge and dining area features newly laid wooden flooring (complete with underfloor heating which extends throughout the entire property), comfy leather sofas to relax on, a log burner (perfect for cooler evenings) and TV. If you don’t fancy venturing to one of the nearby pubs or restaurants then the spacious, newly fitted kitchen - with an attractive vaulted ceiling - contains an integrated cooker, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, hob, toaster and kettle. All the usual utensils are also provided in the light and modern kitchen. The brand-new bright and contemporary bathroom provides guests a luxurious walk-in waterfall shower, heated towel rail, sink and W.C. The adjacent double bedroom benefits from sizeable integrated wardrobes, a large velux skylight and a double bed made up with a fresh cotton duvet and sheets. Guests are welcome to sit down and enjoy a morning coffee (or perhaps an evening glass of wine!) in the Lodge’s private courtyard, which offers hill views during the day and is illuminated by atmospheric fairy lights upon nightfall. Towels (and bed linen) are supplied and free, unlimited WIFI is also available to guests. The Lodge also benefits from off-road parking for one vehicle. A lock box at the property allows guests private and independent check in. The owner is available, however, should guests have any queries. Please note: (i) smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the Lodge or its outside areas; (ii) extra guests are not allowed at the Lodge without the owner’s prior arrangement; (iii) well-behaved dogs are welcome with the owner's prior consent. Other things to note The Lodge is entirely separate from the owner’s nearby Grade II listed home and is extremely well-positioned: a nearby local supermarket, several quaint pubs, newsagents and bakeries can be reached by a short, five-minute stroll. Guests at the Lodge can also walk to Great Malvern’s shops, restaurants, cafes, theatre and cinema, the Worcestershire Way and the wonderful trails of the Malvern Hills. Many other local attractions are also only a short drive away - the Morgan motor factory (5 minutes), Three Counties Showground (5-10 minutes), Ledbury and its nearby fruit farms, cider mills and vineyards (10-15 minutes).
