Listen to the barges cruise by and enjoy the amazing sunrises at the marina. We offer a fire pit in a wooded lot, shelter house with a grill and griddle with supplies along with extra showers and rustic outdoor showers. Schedule a chartered pontoon ride or rent kayaks. Our cove has been described as a fisherman’s dream and one of the prettiest spots on the river. Not only do you have the boatel to use but you have access to a covered shelter, extra regular bathrooms with showers, a grill and griddle with supplies located in the blue shelter, and Rustic outdoor showers. There’s a fire pit and wood is provided located near our tiny house. You can move your chairs around on the ground and sit by the water on the sidewalk. You can fish here with an Indiana fishing license. I live in a house here on the property so if there’s something you need just ask. There is a frisbee golf station and we have corn hole boards. Bags are located in the shelter. Kayaks are for rent 15 per and you can schedule a chartered pontoon ride on the Ohio River for $75 an hour. I am out in the country so I would recommend bringing grocery items with you. You do have to drive a bit to go to places. There are great river towns around me, I would highly recommend driving 35 minutes and spending the day in Madison Indiana, Vevay, Indiana is just 8 miles away, Warsaw Kentucky is 9 miles away, and if you go to the other direction you have rising sun, Aurora and then Lawrensburg… I am 1 mile from Belterra Casino resort. Many people who visit here go to the Ark and creation Museum. That’s at least a 35 minute drive. Park anywhere available in the gravel lot, you can’t even park on the Dumster side. There is no Uber or food delivery here so keep that in mind. There are a few restaurants at the casino called Belterra Casino resort 1 mile from me. Take a look at my guidebook for other restaurants around me. Remember no toilet paper in the toilet, they are not like house toilets, keep the lid down to help with any Houseboat toilet odors, know that they are hooked up to River water for flushing. You can drink the water from the faucet but I recommend bringing Drinking water because staying on a boat is like camping and it is hooked up to city water via a drinking hose. You can use the extra showers in the shower house or the Rustic outdoor showers on back of the shelter. There are supplies in the gray cabinet, a grill and griddle is provided in our shelter house as well.
