Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Cozy up and settle in to our beautiful glamping tent. Here at The Fern we are all about the small details, from the glass you drink out of to the pillow you lay your head on at night, we want to create an experience you will never forget. A place where you can unplug from the crazy world and connect with yourself and nature. Explore the forest, make smores fireside, star gaze or just relax in a hammock watching the trees sway in the wind. The space This is a place to get away and enjoy nature but you aren't too far from a local grocery store, a few restaurants and a local park. If you are here for the beach, the closest beach and also our favorite is Cherry Grove Beach, only a 30 minute drive. There are a few kayak rental companies we can connect you to if you'd like and we know all the local spots for adventure, food and shopping. Pick a hammock and relax listening to the birds, we also have an outdoor kitchen to prepare food and community firepits to gather around. We want this to be a relaxing getaway, to connect with yourself, others and nature. We offer a breakfast to our guests delivered to door step. Typical it involves bread, oatmeal, fruit and eggs with either bacon or sausage, with juice but will vary depending on the season. The breakfast is $20 per person/ $40 per couple. Let me know at least 4 days before arriving if you would like this service and let us know an approximate time I can bring it to the tent for you. Guest access Outdoor kitchen, firepits and all of the beautiful forest to explore. We have a grill that you are welcome to use to prepare any meals, we have all grilling utensils, paper towels, salt and pepper, tongs, lighters, etc. There is also a grate for the firepit to cook over the fire if you would like that, we do have a cast iron skillet you are welcome to use as well. Please do not use the tiki torches, these are for events only. Other things to note We do have a cooler to hold any food during your stay just don't forget ice. There is a cozy propane heater in the tent to stay warm in the winter months and fans with lots of windows to keep you cool in the summer months. You also have a camping stove in the tent with a French press and a kettle to enjoy coffee or tea in the morning. There is a patio with two chairs at the tent but many other hang out areas to enjoy the forest. In the kitchen, you have plates, utensils, cups and an outdoor sink. We just built our outdoor shower and outhouse with a camping toliet.
