Taken down to the studs and renovated in summer '22, the penthouse is both spacious and homey. The 3rd floor walk-up apartment features hardwood floors throughout. Stainless steel appliances including a wine fridge complement granite countertops in the kitchen. A washer dryer can also be found in-unit. Located centrally on a quiet street in Pawtucket, with easy access to Providence, 10min to Brown University. It's a great hub to explore Rhode Island and New England altogether. The space is comfortable. while it is spacious, it is also cozy and homey. The open kitchen/living/dining promote togetherness and the free flow of light, air and good times. The main couch is huge and cozy. The adjacent love seat adds comfortable seating for larger groups. The TV in the living room includes basic cable and access to streaming services. The kitchen is stocked with mugs, wine glasses, and plenty of cookware for those who like to spend time around the dining table. Chefs will enjoy granite tops, plenty of counter space, stainless steel appliances, and a well-stocked spice cabinet. Each bedroom features comfortable bedding, a television for streaming, a dresser and a closet, but each has unique facets as well. The primary suite has a bed with adjustable settings. the secondary bedroom features a desk and chair for those who want to get some work done. The twin room has beautifully crafted wooden bedframes. Bathrooms feature porcelain tile, rainfall shower heads and hand showers. The common bath features a tub. Laundry in unit helps to ensure you don't have to leave and can feel right at home (but we encourage you to explore!) Guests are able to use all 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, the living room, dining room and kitchen on the third floor. Guests may use the laundry in the unit as well. The penthouse can be accessed via the hallway on the James Street side of the building. The parking lot and small yard are free to use for guests, but guests must clean up after themselves if using the yard. The other two apartments in the building and the basement are not for guest use. Access is via walking up 3 flights of stairs. One flight is to get to the main building entrance, then 2 more to get to the penthouse. You will be in touch with a local property manager who lives just 1 floor below the penthouse should you need any assistance. Incorporated in 1886, Pawtucket is a town with historic charm. People are friendly, and it's a great city full of hard working folks who are happy to be there. Renovations to public spaces have occurred and some are ongoing as the area continues to develop. Aside from the parks, breweries and people, we love Pawtucket for its quietness and accessibility. The penthouse's particular proximity to the I95 makes it very easy to travel all around Rhode Island as well as up to Boston. We recommend having a car to get around. There is plenty of good food and there are nice parks that are walkable, but a short drive will allow you to better explore Pawtucket, Providence, Rhode Island and New England. The MBTA is a convenient way to access Boston without sitting in traffic. This is a walk-up building with one flight up to the main entrance and two more flights up to the penthouse. The penthouse is optimally set up for 6 people. A 7th person can easily sleep on the 8ft couch. 8 people can be accommodated as we can add an inflatable full mattress in the secondary bedroom.
