Access to the beach is via approximately 150 steps trickling down to the sea through tropical gardens Nerja is 45 minutes from Malaga and 90 minutes from Grenada The space We remodeled the kitchen and bath and replaced all of the furniture just before the pandemic. The living room has a flat screen tv, bluetooth sound bar and comfortable seating. Fully stocked kitchen includes appliances, dishwasher and clothes washer. Each of the bedrooms have ample storage with built-in wardrobes. The newly remodeled bath has a walk-in shower. The terrace is the jewel of the apartment with amazing views of the Mediterranean. There is dining for four, two sun lounge chairs and a roll out sun awning. Capistrano Playa is situated in the cliffs above Burriana beach. Access to the beach is via approximately 150 steps trickling down to the sea through tropical gardens. It is possible to drive or take the bus as well. The urbanization has two pools and a bar that are available seasonally. There is an elevator to take you from street level leaving just a short walk across the plaza to the apartment. At Nerja's main beach, Playa Burriana, you will find many restaurant and bar choices offering traditional items such as barbacoa, charcuterie, paella (Ayo) as well as Italian, Thai and Nepalese food and a heladeria. There is also a regular bus service to the town center. Capistrano Playa is a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk from the town center. Nerja is a coastal town at the foot of the Almijara mountains 45 minutes from Malaga and 90 minutes from Grenada. The town center has a vibrant, friendly atmosphere with many lovely shops, tapas bars, restaurants and a vibrant disco scene. Close to the town center you will find the shopkeepers are used to tourists and as you explore the town further from the sea you’ll find it to be a traditional Spanish town where fresh produce can still be bought from the doorways of local people’s houses. Nearby places to visit include the famous Caves and the picturesque walled white village of Frigiliana. The Alhambra in Grenada is about a 90 minute drive on excellent new highways.
