Located just 2 miles from the Valley Lodge of the Blue Mountain Ski Resort make this convenient for skiing, mountain biking, festivals and weddings at the resort. For those that just want to get away, our 46 acre property has over 1.5 miles of private trails make our Pocono vacation home a great getaway from it all for you, friends/family and your especially your dogs. Leave the leashes at home! Pet-friendly 3BR, 2 Bath house with huge deck, a patio and fire pit facing the sunset and Blue Mountain in southern Poconos. Sports Court for Pickleball, Basketball and outdoor fun offers a beautiful setting for your competitive side (net paddles and balls provided). Two new couches in living room, bigger TV and new sofa bed in the basement were also added in 2023. In 2024 we added a Tesla Charger and more trails and a remote picnic grove. House comfortably sleeps 8 people (2 queens, 2 full and a pullout queen in the basement.) Crib and high chair are provided. Dog door onto the deck lets dogs run in and out if you'd like, you can block them from leaving the deck. Open concept kitchen with newer appliances, dining area and living room connect to the deck for great gatherings and an awesome view. Finished basement with game room (pool table, glow in the dark air hockey and big screen TV). The house has central air conditioning and high-speed Internet with WiFi. The house is set back from the road and surrounded by 47 acres of land and 1.5 mile of grass covered and gravel private walking/hiking trails. Hike up to the top of Stony Ridge and see for miles. Nearby you will find Blue Mountain Ski Resort (all-year adventure), the Appalachian Trail, Beltzville State Park and Lehigh River Gap. 20 minutes away is Jim Thorpe which has several river outfitters that offer kayaking, rafting and tubing down the Lehigh River. You can also rent bikes in Jim Thorpe or Lehighton to ride along the D&L Trail (next to the river). Beltzville Lake State Park has a nice beach and a marina to rent boats. The town of Palmerton has a nice grocery, restaurants and shops. Not too far away is Country Junction, billed as the world's largest General Store and no visit is complete without a visit to Becky's Drive-in movie theater in Cherryville and the Penn's Peak concert venue. We have high-speed Internet, broadband through the local cable company. Speed is up to 100Mbps Download / 8Mbps Upload. WiFi reaches throughout the house, the deck, the patio and even cars in the driveway for those work calls.
