The amply-sized kitchen is equipped with new stainless steel appliances. There are two washrooms and a free washer/dryer combo tucked away in laundry closet. The heated saltwater pool is fairly private measuring about 30ft X 16ft. Access to the pool comes with your booking. However, we need advance notice if you need the heater turned on and for how long. The space This apartment is on the top floor of a bungalow with a separate entrance. There are three spacious bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed. There is also a pullout double sofa bed in the living room. The open concept makes this Brantford, ON., enclave your perfect weekend getaway for those special moments in your family’s life. Is a birthday fast approaching? Want to spend some quality time with your significant other? Come here. The kitchen is of a chef’s standard. Don’t want to cook? Order in, this place is only a five minutes’ drive from the city centre and an average of four minutes from all of Brantford’s major highways. Guest access Guests have the entire indoor space of the apartment to themselves. Entry is private. There are two washrooms: — A three piece ensuite in the master bedroom with a standing shower — A full (four piece) washroom shared by the other 2 bedrooms. There is a laundry closet with a stackable Samsung washer and dryer. The rooms are spacious with an open concept kitchen/living room setting. The entire space measure approximately 1,300 sq ft. Kitchen has new appliances and lots of storage cabinets. This is the perfect get away for your family. Other things to note HOUSE RULES This is your house for the duration of your stay, treat it as such. —Clean after yourself. The spruce trees in the backyard provide us shade and much needed privacy. However, this also comes with leaf shedding. Don’t drag those into the house and leave them lying around. A vacuum is provided: use it. Do not launder the beddings— not your job. There are hampers in the closet in each room, drop your bedding in them and put them out for them to be laundered. — The dryer in the laundry closet is ventless. That’s means there is a moisture tray that needs to emptied after each dry cycle. Doing so improves drying efficiency. Please empty that tray. Also, after each drying cycle check and remove any lint from the lint trap of the dryer. —There is a hairdryer in the cabinets under the sink of each washroom. POOL —Take a shower before your swim: our bodies are an entire ecosystem of microbes. If you go into the pool without showering, you are introducing more of these microbes into the pool. We then need to use harsh chemicals to keep them under control. Just shower before your swim. After your swim, dry off before heading into the house. The laminate floor bubble up when we introduce water into them constantly. Dry off before heading inside. —No glassware is allowed in the pool area. —Diving is NOT allowed. — I set the pool heater temperature, NOT you. If you want any change, you have to clear it with me. Energy costs have ballooned for most Canadians— don’t treat my home as if I am off-grid. Do your laundry during off peak hours—respect the environment, don’t waste energy. KITCHEN —DO NOT POUR GREASE DOWN THE DRAIN. This is basic stuff. There is a container behind the kitchen sink for your used oils: use it. —If you have an overflow while cooking, clean it up. Don’t just leave it there to cake in the stove top: this is your kitchen now. CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT TIME —Check in and check out times are firm. SMOKING —No indoor smoking is allowed inside: use the patio. HEATING AND COOLING. There is a smart thermostat within reach in your apartment, use it to maintain a comfortable temperature. However, if you abuse it, I retain the right to change the temperature remotely and lock the controls. PETS —Pick up after your pet. —Most pets shed: on the furniture, on the floor everywhere. Vacuum up your pet’s hair, just as you do at home. —Pets are NOT allowed in the pool under any circumstances. Do it and your pool use privileges will be revoked. —This is a family-oriented space, treat it as such. No loud music. No nudity in the pool area.
