Quintas da Barra is a family inn with the charm of a European hostel, where my husband and I live and welcome guests as friends or family. The property offers three bedrooms for rent, with two shared full bathrooms. Our rooms accommodate at least two people, but we can accommodate a guest upon request. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast and have access to a large library, barbecue, and covered outdoor leisure areas. For fitness enthusiasts, we have fitness equipment, including a treadmill. The guesthouse is accessible for special people and the elderly, with an elevator and support equipment. Four-legged friends are welcome, as we are pet-friendly. Inside, guests can relax in the music room, TV room, fireplace room, or use the private office for home office. The property also offers internet and indoor parking spaces. You will love sharing photos of this unique place with your friends. The space This 3-story townhouse offers a unique and complete experience for its guests. On the second floor there are two bedrooms, while the first floor houses a third bedroom, all accessible by elevator, ideal for guests with limited mobility. The space is full of living areas, including a music room and a home office. For leisure, we provide a wide collection of movies, documentaries, and shows that can be watched on a movie screen, as well as a library with more than 2,000 books for reading to the sound of the hammocks swinging. Chess, checkers and card games are available, as well as a double kayak for nautical adventures. Guests can enjoy our organic garden, and a continental breakfast is included in the daily rate. For wine lovers, we have a modest wine cellar with fair prices. During the winter, a fireplace and fondue set are available to warm up and provide cozy moments. The property offers one parking space per room in our walled courtyard. Our dishes, cutlery, bowls, glasses and pots are new, ensuring a quality experience. Hosts are welcoming and full of stories to share. The husband, an engineer and sailor, is a saxophone enthusiast and collector, while the wife brings a touch of humor to the environment. Together, they ensure a memorable stay for all visitors. Guest access Guests have access to 95% of our property, including the fireplace room, music room, office/library, TV/Home Cinema room, dining room, kitchen, and two covered pergolas. One pergola is dedicated to the barbecue, ideal for roasting meats, while the other offers a rest and gym deck, with hammocks and a mini gym. Access to the central courtyard allows you to relax on the sun loungers. Each room is entitled to a free uncovered parking space within the property. In addition, we offer a double kayak for rent, perfect for use on the beach in front of Quintas, which is only 30 meters away, or about 50 steps. We also provide chairs, towels and a beach tent for guests to use. Please note that we do not allow parties on the property, but we encourage the use of the leisure areas for a relaxing and pleasant stay." During your stay We are a sociable couple, married for 34 years, and we love to welcome guests to our home, which is the story of our lives. We enjoyed talking about all about all sorts of things and exchanging ideas, offering lots of tips on places to visit. We are always available to assist and you can call us to request more photos, which will be available from the first week of December, after the completion of a renovation to better serve and please. Smoking is allowed in the pergolas, but not in the bedrooms and other rooms. Other things to note Discover paradise in Barra do Sul, a place that won our hearts from the first visit. Quintas da Barra offers an inn-like experience, where breakfast is included in the daily rates. For those who prefer to prepare their own meals, we provide a refrigerator in the barbecue area to store your purchases. The cleaning and organization of the rooms are the responsibility of the guests, who receive the spaces clean and fragrant, and must keep them that way until departure. We provide cleaning supplies, while we take care of the common areas. The dishes and small appliances follow the "use it, clean it" concept, with a dishwasher available to facilitate maintenance. Everything is prepared so that you can enjoy a comfortable and practical stay, just keeping what we offer."
