Welcome to Tai'inu Bungalow 2, a rustic, charming, spacious, self-contained bungalow only a 30 second walk to the beach and has everything you need for the perfect, relaxing island getaway The space The Property Our small seaside property features two newly renovated self contained bungalows with charming pitched roofs and locally crafted wooden furnishings made from tamanu (mahogany). While not absolute beachfront, you’ll have direct beach access just a 30 second stroll to the sand. Location We’re conveniently located only 5 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from town. Within walking distance you’ll find a local takeaway (2 minutes) and the Maunga Pu Summit trail (5 minutes). For exploring the rest of Aitutaki, we recommend renting a vehicle to see the island’s best sights. Your Stay From the moment you arrive, we want you to feel at home. Your hosts, Marokii and Vaea, will greet you at the airport and can even give you a quick orientation drive through town to help you get settled with groceries or essentials. If you need anything from vehicle rentals, tours, massages, or private lagoon cruises to dining recommendations or tips on local culture, we’re just a call away. Although not situated right on the beach, beach access is readily available and is only a 30 second walk away. Other things to note Aitutaki will at times go through water and power shortages. While Tai'inu has a dedicated rain water tank for times like these, guests are asked to conserve water where they can. Also, since Aitutaki is a tropical area in which all things thrive, guests do well to remember to keep insect screens closed and surfaces clear of food to avoid attracting unwanted guests.
