Here, we wanted to create a simple, comfortable and cozy place where you can truly slow down, enjoy nature and disconnect. 🌿 ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 💶 AN ALL-INCLUSIVE PRICE The price of your stay includes the costs associated with the operation of the cottage and its rental. Regarding Airbnb fees: They are collected directly by Airbnb and do not go to the owners. Behind the screen, it's Julie, your host 😊 I personally prepare and maintain the cottage between each stay. Jérémy, on the other hand, built the house: the interior, the exterior, the furniture... We do not charge any additional cleaning fees. We simply ask that you leave the accommodation in a clean and pleasant condition: 🧹 A quick sweep with a broom or vacuum to remove crumbs 🍽️ Clean kitchen and dishes put away 🚽 Clean toilet 🧽 Table wiped down Microfiber cloths are available for everyday minor messes. 👉 No need to do a thorough clean: just leave the cottage as you would like to find it. 😊 ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🍳 EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO COOK The kitchen is fully equipped. For longer stays, toilet paper is always provided for your arrival, so you can settle in comfortably. For the rest of your stay, please plan to bring your own toilet paper. 🗑️ GARBAGE BAGS 🧼 DISHWASHER TABLETS: For stays of less than one week and up to one week, we provide 1 dishwasher tab per day. For stays of 2 weeks, please bring your own dishwasher tablets for the duration of the stay. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🚰 WATER & INTERNET 💧 The tap water is potable. 🛜 Fiber internet available. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 👕 DRYING YOUR LAUNDRY NATURALLY A clothes rack is available both indoors and outdoors. Here, there's no need for a dryer! 😊 With the circulating air, the sun and the natural warmth of the house, laundry usually dries quickly, even on cooler days. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 👶 FOR BABIES We provide: 🛁 Baby bathtub 🛏️ Pack 'n play/Travel crib 🪑 High chair ⚠️ Baby bed linens are not provided. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🌡️ A COMFORTABLE HOUSE ALL YEAR ROUND The house has very good insulation. ❄️ IN WINTER It retains heat very well. Please just don't leave doors open unnecessarily. 🌞 IN SUMMER It stays naturally cool. During very hot weather, we recommend closing the shutters on the side exposed to the sun and keeping doors and windows closed during the hottest hours in order to keep the interior cool. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🪵 THE WOOD STOVE The stove provides gentle, pleasant warmth during cold periods. It is generally used from fall to spring, when the temperatures require it. 🪵 The firewood is provided and stored in the alcove provided for this purpose, at the back of the house. We provide the amount of wood needed for a day of heating. Please use it sensibly. To start the fire, you will find: 🔥 Kindling 🔥 Firelighters 🔥 Matches As the house is very well insulated, the temperature rises quickly. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🍗 GRILL A barbecue is available in the shed at the back of the gîte. ⚠️ Charcoal and firelighters are not provided. You can easily buy them nearby, including at Le Beau Panier or Brico Marché in Aix-Villemaur-Pâlis, about 5 km away. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ⚡️ ELECTRICITY Electricity is included up to a flat rate corresponding to reasonable average consumption: ☀️ 280 kWh during the summer ❄️ 470 kWh in winter This allowance is based on the average consumption recorded during stays in the past two years. If the meter reading shows that this amount has been exceeded, the difference may be charged at a rate of €0.21/kWh. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🌿 A LITTLE NATURE AROUND YOU In the summer, we maintain the outdoor areas while trying to preserve biodiversity as much as possible. 🌱 We come to mow about once a week or every two weeks, depending on how fast the grass is growing. We always notify you by message before we come. The areas used by guests are maintained regularly.
