Studio Verdure. Surprisingly unique & convenient.

This uniquely comfy and cosy place has an artist's and nature lovers heart. Styling touches on vintage modern, rustic and botanical themes while providing well appointed amenities inc wood fire to recharge the soul of the inner adventurer. Studio Verdure is a quirky 2 bedroom apartment ground floor to Photographique Studio as part of a double story house in Kings Meadows. It's less than 9 mins to the city, 200 metres from Kings Meadows Plaza and an easy stroll to the Hobart Road eateries. The space Studio Verdure is in a class all of it's own. The building is unique and quirky, full of personality and a space you want to nestle into especially towards the end of the day or in cold weather. During warmer days, birds are prolific and dining out in the back garden or a picnic rug on the private back lawn feels liberating and indulgent. Inquisitive chickens may join you. The building is a solid double story house with the downstairs level built by hand poured concrete. Most of the windows look out at the leafy green garden areas that wrap around the apartment. A BBQ is sitting in the undercover area near your back kitchen door with a fishpond for company. Inside you can enjoy a comfortable queen size bed, built in robe in the main bedroom, a king single in the second bedroom with storage and an egg chair. There are three living areas: Lounge room with a wall mounted TV, Xbox, Netflix, Prime and a large leather suite (and/or a single airbed) that could provide a sleeping space for additional people on request. Dining room for 6 and a wood fire. A perfect for playing cards or boardgames come nightfall. Breakfast bar/ coffee lounge room. Adjacent to the kitchen, it's a great space to plan your next adventures. On the wall you will find some guides to help suggest what to explore locally. Perhaps stroll down to one of the three bakeries or the supermarket to collect breakfast. In the kitchen you should find most items for cooking with a hotplate, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, a fridge and dishwasher. The bathroom is fully tiled with a large walk in large shower and Sukin products. The laundry has a front loader, dryer and washtub, iron & ironing board. Guest access You will have the entire downstairs area to enjoy plus the surrounding gardens. Upstairs is where we live. Other things to note Upstairs is a working portrait studio. We will do our best to minimise any impact on your stay by limiting crossover but just note there may still be client traffic during work hours.
