Step aboard Kings Landing, our fully equipped 60ft narrowboat — perfect for a family break, romantic escape or relaxing getaway with friends. Cruise through Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, passing countryside and waterside pubs along the way. No boating experience needed — full training provided. Fully insured. £300 refundable security deposit (taken 24hrs before hire). The space The Space Kings Landing is a 60ft traditional narrowboat thoughtfully laid out to feel cosy yet surprisingly spacious. Stern & Outdoor Space At the rear is the steering deck with seating — perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks while moored. The bow area also offers cushioned seating for relaxing and watching canal life go by. Saloon (Living Area) The comfortable lounge includes a sofa (which converts into an additional berth if required), dining table, smart TV and heating for cosy evenings aboard. Galley Kitchen The fully equipped galley has a gas hob, oven, fridge, sink and ample storage. You’ll find cookware, crockery, cutlery and utensils — everything needed for self-catering. Bathroom The bathroom includes a shower, basin and toilet, with hot water available onboard. Bedroom The main bedroom features a fixed double bed with storage, reading lights and a calm, cosy feel after a day cruising. Heating & Utilities The boat is centrally heated and fully insulated, making it comfortable in all seasons. It operates on 12v power with onboard systems typical of canal boats (full guidance provided at handover). Kings Landing is ideal for couples, small families or friends wanting a peaceful canal adventure with modern comforts. You can bring up t0 2 dogs for an extra charge (depending on breed). Please message for details. The boat is only available for hire from Mid March to 31st October. During the Summer School Holidays we only take bookings of a minimum 7 nights.
