Guest suite in Clemson

Welcome to the cozy yet spacious downstairs space in our 1970s fixer upper! Close enough to all that our beloved Clemson has to offer, but in a quiet neighborhood that has that “away from it all” vibe. You’ll love all the room to relax and spread out. Come and go using your own private entrance, and enjoy the covered patio or fire pit in our wooded backyard. Perfect for resting after a victory tailgate or a picturesque hike, come home to recharge and then set out on your next adventure! The space The Cozy Tiger provides multiple spots to relax, read a book, or enjoy a movie. The entire space of over 800 sq ft has been renovated and updated since Fall 2020. Our decor is an eclectic mix, but all very homey and comfortable. Besides the queen bed with mattress topper, there is a very comfortable futon (not your normal futon, we promise!) that would be suitable for one adult or 2 children, and a couch that would sleep one child. There is a kitchenette area that has the essentials - mini fridge, microwave, Keurig, a few paper products and all the coffee supplies you'd need. Being the lowest level in our home, this space stays a little cooler year round - there is no access to a thermostat, but we can provide a space heater or table fan at your request. We strive to provide all you may need to be comfortable: extra linens, blankets, some extra toiletries, bath salts, a hair dryer, and some cleaning supplies. If there’s anything you need, please let us know! For those who want to stay ‘plugged-in’ during your stay, there is a TV, WiFi, Roku stick (personal subscription/login required to use), extra phone charger for iPhone users, and a desk space that is great for getting a few work items checked off your list in between adventures. There is a Neighborhood Walmart 2.3 miles away for any last minute supplies to make your stay perfect. And it’s only 1.3 miles to Sikes Hall and Bowman Field on Clemson’s campus, and 2.6 miles to the roar of Death Valley! Guest access You’ll have access to the whole area with the exception of a couple of closets that we use for personal storage and my husband’s workshop which is adjacent to the space. Any access we may need during your stay will be done with your permission, unless there is an emergency.
