We are a family of adventurers, listing our house when we travel to share home-away-from-home comfort with others. It's centrally located in a family-friendly, eclectic neighborhood just beyond downtown, nestled with international markets/cuisine, & sprawling parks. There is convenient access to the Greenbelt pedestrian/bike path as well as the freeway. We are 10 minutes from major shopping areas, both hospitals and the airport. Just across the street is a small playground and basketball court. The space Inside you will find a kitchen stocked for people who love to cook, a cozy dining nook that seats 6, or enjoy BBQing and dining on our upstairs deck. The propane BBQ is seasonally available for use for a small additional fee. The upstairs bathroom has a separate shower and soaker tub with a spray handle, while downstairs you can enjoy a double-headed walk-in shower. We are art and music lovers and book nerds, so you will have access to our small library and record collection and turntable. The upstairs bedroom doubles nicely as a home-office area with a small desk or an artist's drafting table. The downstairs master bedroom has a Purple mattress on a queen bed and dual closet. The remaining downstairs bedroom has a full bed and 32" TV. We also provide a selection of firm and soft pillows. Enjoy 4K TV in the living room, and smart TVs in two bedrooms with all the bandwidth you’ll need on our high speed fiberoptic internet.  Our backyard is private and fenced with a great lawn for playing or relaxing in the shade. We have a culinary herb garden for you to enjoy harvesting from for your meals during growing months. There are two driveways for off-street parking with a one-car carport and an area to lock bikes or store gear. Across the street is a playground and basketball court. We do our best to limit the waste that often comes with travel. Our home is equipped with eco-friendly products chosen with Mother Earth in mind, including cloth options to replace paper towels and napkins. We try to use non-toxic and low-scented products whenever possible while also meeting AirBNBs enhanced cleaning standards. We make it easy for guests to recycle and compost when staying at our place. Please note that the split-level design of the house requires two short flights of stairs to access living spaces in the home. Guests who have mobility limitations or small children may want to consider if the stairs will be workable for your stay. We also provide a space heater or large fans (depending on the season) to help regulate temperature between both levels of the home for additional comfort. ★Long term stay discounts!★ We are happy to accept longer stays! We offer the following long term stay discounts: -10% for stays of 7+ days -15% for stays of 14+ days -20% for stays of 30+ days Discounts will automatically factor in to the prices shown on AirBnB. ★For Stays over 29 nights★ Please note that for stays exceeding 29 nights, Idaho law requires that we must obtain a lease from you before hosting your stay. For stays exceeding 29 nights, an extra cleaning is required every 4 weeks. This will be billed at the cost of an additional cleaning fee. These extra cleanings help keep our home an enjoyable place for all renters and really help our cleaning crews at the time of checkout. Please keep these policies in mind if booking a long term stay. Guest access Keyless entry will let you easily come and go. The neighborhood is easily walkable to parks, restaurants, and shopping. There is space for off-street parking as well as ample curbside parking. The back yard can be accessed through the back of the house or a gate. You will be able to access all areas of the property except for the downstairs bedroom in back and two small closets. The shed will remained locked as well. Other things to note Bookings must be made by a member of the traveling party over the age of 25. Groups made up of those under 25 should seek alternate accommodation. Parties, animals, or smoking on the property is not allowed. Due to allergies, we kindly ask that anyone traveling with service or support animals find other accommodations. If you have an ADA protected service animal, please send us a message and we can discuss arrangements. Due to the split-level layout of the house, it is not the most accessible; short flights of stairs are required to enter, as well as to access both levels of the home. Kids and infants are absolutely welcome, but lots of stairs also require extra vigilance with crawlers and toddlers and are unfortunately not suited to use baby gates.
