The Casita is equipped with a full kitchen, full bathroom, and upstairs loft. Downstairs has a queen size gel foam mattress on the pull-out couch. Built and designed by artists, expect to find several handmade items throughout the house for you to use and enjoy during your stay. There is plenty of seating inside and outside to enjoy a book, eat a meal, or just relax. Enjoy the mountain views, listen to the wildlife, and tour our unique area of artisans and small town charm. The space The Casita is a "shoe-free" home where we pride ourselves on cleanliness. We use all natural cleaners in most areas of the home which do not contain harsh chemicals or strong smells. It is a one-bedroom "not so tiny" tiny home just under 400 square feet on the main floor. The tall ceilings and open floor plan create a bright and welcoming atmosphere. Visitors can access the loft/bedroom by ladder which has hand rails. Guests will notice several handmade art items (for using and looking at) throughout the space as well as a curated selection of beautiful books on arts and crafts and more. Other things to note We offer breakfast for the first day. Guests can expect to find 1/2 dozen eggs, fruit, coffee, creamer, and juice. We have a drip machine and coffee press. We are located in a quiet, safe area just 10 minutes from downtown Burnsville and 50 minutes from Asheville. We do have broadband WIFI service for you connect your device. We DO NOT have a TV.
