Renovated micro unit among short and long-term rentals in prime East Lansing location within a mile of MSU and next to Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Asian Grocer, restaurants, bars, shopping, and a mile from the Meridian Mall. Easy access to MSU sporting events, Wharton Center performances, rodeo and agricultural events, horticulture gardens, and the Eli & Edythe Broad Art Museum. Downtown Lansing, the State Capitol, Sparrow Hospital, and McLaren hospital are all within five miles. The space While small, this unit is newly renovated and offers everything necessary to have a great short or long-term stay in East Lansing. The living area features a queen Murphy bed with a Tuft & Needle mattress and plush linens and four pillows for a full night’s rest. For longer stays, we can remove and replace linens, towels and bedding on a weekly basis for $50.00 ($200/month). Otherwise, you may use the common coin-op laundry machines located between units 17 and 18 (access code is 4321). The bed easily lifts into a hidden position if you desire more room to work or do yoga. There is a closet on each side of the bed with dresser drawers, shelves, and hanging rod. There are two club chairs, an adjustable table with locking rollers, a luggage rack, 55 inch LG Smart TV, electric fireplace with 10 flame colors (operated with or without heat), sound machine, and an alarm clock with two USB ports. There are two sturdy folding chairs and TV trays next to the closet if needed. Some units may include a small desk and chair in place of a club chair. This setup can be done upon request for those needing a workstation. The kitchen features a 20 inch oven/range with four cooktop burners, above range microwave, new cabinets, granite counter-top with undermount stainless steel sink and Kohler gooseneck pulldown faucet, and an 11 cubic foot refrigerator with a separate freezer. There is a small garbage receptacle under the sink and starter trash bags. Trash can be disposed of in the dumpster at the far end of the parking lot. The kitchen is stocked with pots/pans, dinnerware and silverware, cooking utensils, wine glasses, can/bottle/wine bottle openers, vacuum wine bottle stopper, and all the basics necessary to make your stay comfortable. Also, there is a toaster and Keurig Coffee Maker (limited coffee K-pods and tea bags provided). The bathroom has a walk-in shower with glass doors and is stocked with plush towels. The vanity cabinet includes a hairdryer for your convenience. Starter toothpaste, disposable toothbrush, toilet paper, and soaps/lotions are also provided to get you by until you can restock. I will also try my best to accommodate further needs upon request such as board games, ironing board/iron, clothes steamer, etc. Guest access You will have access to open covered parking a few feet from the entry door. There is a six foot covered sidewalk to allow for dry unloading in case of rain or snow. There is a common laundry room for your convenience shared by other tenants at the north end of the building with coin-operated machines. Laundry basket, detergent, and fabric softener can be provided upon request for nominal cost. Quarters can also be supplied for cash or you can get quarters at nearby stores such as Whole Foods (two doors down). The unit has direct access via a secure Schlage Encode smart lock system utilizing a personalized 4 digit access code. An emergency hard key storage box is also mounted next to the entry door in case of a Wi-Fi outage. It doesn't get any easier!!!
