The Zoo House is less than 2 miles from the NC Zoo! It’s a 10 minute drive to downtown Asheboro for restaurants, shops, theaters, bowling, & miniature golf. Seagrove Pottery area is a 15 minutes drive as is the Petty Museum; Zip Lining is just 10 minutes away. Smart Lock self check in. The space We renovated the 1950s era home. In keeping the charm of the original 1954 kitchen cabinets, we were unable to fit a dishwasher. There’s a large laundry room available with washer, dryer, iron and ironing board. Guest access You are free to roam the property during your stay. There is a grape vine to enjoy in the fall. A grill to cook out if desired. Make this house your home while you are here. Other things to note The house is on a large, unfenced lot, next to an assisted living facility. The back yard is private and relaxing.
