The space • Basement 1 (B1): There is a kitchen where you can have breakfast or enjoy vegetarian meals. (Only beverages are allowed on floors other than B1.) • 1st Floor: There is a tea lounge, open 24 hours. However, the door to the accommodations locks after 10 PM until morning, so don’t forget to bring your card key. • 2nd/3rd Floors: These are accommodation areas; the 2nd floor is for women only, and the 3rd floor is for men only. Please remove your shoes upon entry and use the shoe rack. • 4th Floor: This area is restricted to staff only. • 5th Floor: The meditation hall is available until 10 PM when there are no programs scheduled. • 6th Floor: There is a rooftop garden. It’s a space to experience nature in the city, perfect for relaxing moments. Guest access 1. Schedule Guide (Voluntary Participation): • Morning Meditation: Morning meditation with 33 bows and seated meditation takes place every day except Monday from 6:00 to 6:50 AM. • Breakfast: Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 9:30 AM; please come down by 9:15 AM. Cleaning starts at 9:30 AM. • Meditation Programs: Various static/dynamic meditation programs are offered in the afternoon and evening. Some are paid, some are free, with a 10,000 KRW discount for guests on paid programs. Detailed program schedules are available on the JustBe Insta (@justbe_temple). 2. Facility Use: • You can store your luggage at the reception before check-in and after check-out. • The entrance to the accommodations locks at 10 PM daily, but can be opened anytime with a card key. Be sure to carry your card when going out. A fee of 20,000 KRW is charged for lost cards. • The room’s air conditioning can be adjusted by turning the circular vent in the ceiling. If it’s cold, please use the provided blankets. 3. Check-out: • Check-out is at 11 AM. Bring your luggage down to the first floor by this time, and return the key to the key box on the stairs. A late check-out incurs a charge of 20,000 KRW per hour. • Please inform reception before 11 AM if you need a late check-out. 4. Directions: • 5 minutes walk from exits 4 and 5 of Hongik University Station on Subway Line 2, Gyeongui-Jungang Line, and AREX airport line. • 1minute walk from Olive Young & Convenience Store Other things to note • Please always keep quiet indoors, especially minimize noise at night. • Refrain from using showers and hairdryers between midnight and 5 AM. • Do not lock the doors of the shower rooms (there are 2 shower rooms); only close the individual curtains. • The bathroom and shower facilities are shared with other guests. Please do not store personal belongings here. • All rooms are sanitized with Hinoki Cypress water EVERYDAY. • If you have any questions, feel free to ask the tea tender or a nearby staff member.
