Lake Cabin with Sauna (off grid)

Get away from the busy life and experience a unique off-grid cabin by the lake with a sauna, rowboat and canoe 🛶 Jumping into the lake after a hot sauna, fishing from your own boat in the midnight sun, watching the northern lights by a campfire, going hiking, berry picking or canoeing. This is the perfect place to do it all. Even though the cabin is off-grid, you can still enjoy modern amenities thanks to a wood burning stove and a large fresh water tank for hot and cold water. The space The property is only accessible by boat (rowing 20min across the lake) or by hiking/skiing (20min). The property consists of 3 buildings. The main building has an open plan with kitchen, dining table, pull out sofa and sleeping loft. Attached to this room is the main bathroom with an off grid toilet, sink and shower. The second building is designed to sleep more people with 2 beds and another bathroom with sink and toilet. The third building is the sauna with a wood burning stove, right next to the lake so you can cool off after a session 💧 Guest access Guests will have access to the whole property, including a fishing boat, kano and snowshoes in winter. Other things to note The cabin is off-grid and is only accessible by boat or by hiking/skiing. Electricity is provided by solar (summer) and a battery bank in winter. The cabin has a 220L freshwater tank that is manually filled with clean water from the lake, allowing for warm water and even showers. The freshwater tank needs to be refilled and the greywater tank needs to be emptied by the guests during their stay, but it is an easy and quick progress that I will show upon arrival. Beeing off-grid, the toilets are luxury cassette toilets. It means that they need to be emptied every couple of days, which is a very quick and clean process.
